Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the primary terminal voltage rise of an induction motor in a field-weakening control range for controlling the motor in constant output operation by adding a function generator receiving the absolute value of a rotational angle speed as an input to the motor.
CONSTITUTION: Instantaneous primary current standard value to be supplied is calculated by the torque instruction value and the magnetic flux instruction value on the basis of the mutual inductance value between primary and secondary windings of a motor IM, self-inductance value of the secondary winding and resistance value of the secondary winding to control the vector of the motor IM with a frequency converter 1. At this time a function generator 22 receiving only the absolute value of the rotational angle speed of the motor as an input is added to the motor. Thus, the magnetic flux is weakened inversely proportionally to the speed of the motor to predetermined speed, and less weakened than the inverse proportion to the speed after the motor is rotated at higher than the predetermined speed. Accordingly, it can reduce the primary terminal voltage rise of the motor IM in all field magnetic flux weakening range to safely insulate the induction motor.
