Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate air spread against flames and improve combustion efficiency by the function of a flame-regulating ring in which flow-regulating slots and knife- edges are formed.
CONSTITUTION: A flame-regulating ring 17 fixed in the upper part of a ring-like tube 11 has a number of flow-regulating slots formed on its inner wall and also a knife-dege 17b formed on the upper part thereof, the latter of which forms a flame outlet 17c with a deflection tube 15 between them. When an adjusting shaft 23 is turned up to the ignition position by elecyrifying a motor 21, a wick 7 and a deflection tube 15 are raised and the flame outlet 17c is widely opened, while the opening of dampers 20a and 20b being reversely drawn, thus a small quantity of air being supplied for an inner air chamber 3 and an outer air chamber 10. Accordingly, ignition of the wick makes flames immediately all around the periphery. Then, when the adjusting shaft is returned to the burning position, the wick 7 and the deflection tube 15 are lowered, while the dampers 20a and 20b are opened, all to the desired degree, thus chrysanthemum-petal like blue flames being formed.
