Abstract

PURPOSE: To detect that supply voltage has decreased by connecting the first potential supply end to the second potential supply end by way of plural MOS type transistors in series.
CONSTITUTION: A VDD potential supply end 10 is connected to an earth potential supply end by way of MOS type transistors 11, 12, 13 in series. The gates of the transistors 11, 13 are connected to the VDD potential supply end 10 and the gate of the transistor 12 is connected to its own drain. Here, when the potential VOUT of the output end 14 goes below the level at which the output of an inverter 15 is inverted, the output level of the inverter 15 changes over, whereby it is detected that the VDD potential has become lower than the specified level.
