Abstract
PURPOSE: To automatically steer operatorless trucks in an automatic warehouse by guiding the trucks with laser beam to automatically control moving direction and loading and unloading works of the trucks with other laser beam received from other direction.
CONSTITUTION: A laser beam reciever 16 is provided at an operatorless truck 15 and composed of a front generator 10 for setting route of the truck 15, and front and side detecting plates 17, 18 for receiving laser beams generated from side generators 11 to 13. The truck 15 runs along the route beam from the generator 10. When the truck 15 receives command beam from the generator 12 during movement at the plate 18, it stops or accelerates or decelerates, or steers its steering system to change itself to the right or left
