Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of energy conservation, by switching circuits for a hot water storage tank and a heat exchanger for heating swimming pool water through a valve and also by controlling a circulation pump in accordance with the temperatures of heat carrier in a solar collector and of return circulation water. CONSTITUTION:The heat carrier from a solar collector 1 is selectively switched by means of a valve system 17 to a heat exchanger for heating pool water or to a hot water storage tank 5. When the temperature of a temperature detector 18'' is higher by a certain digree than that of temperature detector 18 is higher by a certain degree than that of temperature detector 18'' and the temperature of the detector 18'' is lower than a preset level, a circulation pump 3 is automatically operated to heat the circulating water in the pool 7 through the heat exchanger 4. When the temperature of the detector 18'' rises higher than the preset level, the heat carrier does not circulate to the heat exchanger 4, while it circulates to the storage tank 5 only when the temperature of the detector 18 exceeds that of the detector 18' by a certain degree. This can improve the efficiency of energy conservation.
