Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the response speed of the output current in a steady way by supplying the control current to one of plural units of Josephson switches forming a series-connection circuit and supplying the auxiliary control current to other switches. CONSTITUTION:N-units (S1-SN), whose overlap voltage changes from zero to a limited value when the control current of over the threshold level is supplied from outside under the state these switches are inserted to the current path, form series circuit 21 which is then inserted to current path 1. And output circuit 4 containing both of or either one of inductive component 2 and resistance component 3 is connected in parallel to circuit 21. For instance, auxiliary control current IA which is higher than control Ii is supplied to switches S2-SN from power source 22 immediately after supply of input control current Ii to switch S1. Thus, current IB of path 1 is lowered via the function of S1, so other switches are prevented from becoming unsteady. As a result, output current IO flowing to circuit 4 can be obtained in a steady way and with a higher response speed than current Ii.
