Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a hot water apparatus which allows one water storage tank to cover a wide range of supply from steam to high temperature water through a quick storage of steam and hot water in the storage tank from top to bottom. CONSTITUTION:A hot water feed pipe 8 with a hot water stopper 9 is installed to a hot water storage tank 1 provided with a hot water feed port 2 at the upper end and water feed port 3 at the lower portion thereof, connected to the hot water feed port. A water feed pipe 10 interlaid with a normally open pressure reducing valve 11 and a solenoid 12 is connected to the water feed port 31. When the pressure in the tank 1 reaches a given level, the pressure reducing closes automatically. At the same time, a solenoid valve 5 of a steam rerief pipe 4 connected to the hot water feed port 2. After the storage of the hot water, with the stopper opened, a negative pressure develops on the hot water feed pipe side 8 of a safety valve 7. The pressure is electrically captured to close the safety valve 5 while opening the solenoid valve 12 and the pressure reducing valve 11. The tank 1 is equipped with a heating tank 13 containing a heating element through pipings 15 and 16.
