Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce greatly power consumption in a stationary state and to charge and discharge a large capacitive load at a high speed by adding a generating circuit for a transient charge-discharge current which shorten the charge-discharge time of the load. CONSTITUTION:Once transistor Tr100 is applied with an input signal low in logic level, Tr100 is cut off and Tr 102 and 104 are in conduction to start charging from the output terminal to the load. However, since resistance 130 has an extremely high value bacause of low power consumption, generating a transient current from Tr 108 via resistances 136 and 138 increases the base current of Tr 102 momentarily, allowing charging the load to end in a short time. On the other hand, terminal N1 becomes high in level and when Tr 100 starts conducting, Tr 108 is cut off, so that large currents will flow to the base of Tr 106 via Trs 108 and 100. As a result, Tr 106 discharges the load capacity suddenly. After the discharge, the input of terminal N2 is made low in logic level to cut off Tr 108, so that the power consumption can be suppressed low.
