Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.マイクロタイタープレート等のマルチウェルプレートの上側表面に開口部を 有するウェルをシールするために用いられるパッドであって、 該プレート内のウェルを覆うように調節された平面状の広がり面(expanse)を 規定する可撓性ポリマーシートと、 該広がり面上に形成され、該パッドが該プレート上に有効に配置されたときに 該ウェルの該開口部上に乗るように調節された複数の弾力圧縮性リッジとを備え 、 該リッジは変形可能であり、実質的に均一な圧力が該シートの該広がり面とは 反対側に付与されたときに、該広がり面と該ウェル開口部との間に実質的に液密 のシールを形成し、そして 該リッジは、該圧力を解除したときに該シールを破壊するのに十分なだけ該広 がり面から延びている、 パッド。 2.前記広がり面およびリッジを覆い、そして約1〜4ミルの間の厚さを有する 疎水性フィルムをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のパッド。 3.前記パッドが、前記広がり面と前記ウェル開口部との間に配設され、そして 約2〜5ミルの間の厚さを有する疎水性フィルムをさらに含む、請求項1に記載 のパッド。 4.ウェル開口部が前記プレートの表面と実質的に同一平面上にあるプレートに 使用される請求項1に記載のパッドであって、前記リッジが、該プレートのウェ ル開口部間における表面領域に対応する前記広がり面の表面領域上において不連 続である、パッド。 5.前記リッジが前記広がり面上に矩形のアレイを形成し、そして該アレイにお けるリッジ交差部の点が前記プレートにおける前記ウェル開口部の位置に対応す る、請求項4に記載のパッド。 6.上部平面の開口部を有する複数のウェルを持つ、マイクロタイタープレート 等のマルチウェルプレートを受けるためのトレイと、該ウェルを加熱するあるい は振盪させるサンプル取扱手段と、カバーおよび該カバーを待避位置からシール 形成位置に向かって動かす手段を持つシール形成アセンブリとを有する種類の自 動プレート取扱装置において、該カバーをシール形成位置の方へと動かして、そ の位置で該パッドを該プレートの表面に圧接させて該プレートの該ウェルをシー ルするために用いられる、該カバーに取り付けられたパッドであって、 該プレートの該ウェルを覆うように寸法設計された平面状の広がり面を規定す る可撓性ポリマーシートと、 該広がり面上に形成され、該ウェルの該開口部上に乗るように調整された複数 の弾力圧縮性リッジとを備え、 該リッジは変形可能であり、該カバーがシール形成位置の方に動かされたとき に、該広がり面と該ウェル開口部との間に実質的に液密のシールを形成し、 該リッジは、該カバーをその待避位置の方に移動させたときに該シールを破壊 するのに十分なほど該広がり面から延びている、 パッド。 7.前記広がり面およびリッジを覆い、そして約1〜4ミルの間の厚さを有する 疎水性フィルムをさらに含む、請求項6に記載のパッド。 8.前記パッドが、前記広がり面と前記ウェル開口部との間に配設され、そして 約2〜5ミルの間の厚さを有する疎水性フィルムをさらに含む、請求項6に記載 のパッド。 9.前記リッジが前記広がり面上に矩形のアレイを形成し、そして該アレイにお けるリッジ交差部の点が前記プレートにおける前記ウェル開口部の位置に対応す る、請求項6に記載のパッド。 10.ウェル開口部が前記プレートの表面と実質的に同一平面であるプレートに 使用される請求項6に記載のパッドであって、前記リッジが、該プレートのウェ ル開口部間における表面領域に対応する前記広がり面の表面領域上において不連 続である、パッド。
