A reinforcing sheet made of paper or the like is adhered with an adhesive, and this is used as a strip-shaped veneer having an appropriate width by a slitter.A plurality of band-shaped veneers are wound around a mandrel, and the twist direction of all the band-shaped veneers becomes the same. In this manner, a wooden tube formed by being spirally wound has been used (see Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 58-91255).

There has been a problem that torsional deformation occurs when an axial tensile load or a compressive load is applied. In addition, there is a problem that the torsional strength under a torsional load in the left-handed torsional direction is greatly different from the torsional strength under a torsional load in the right-handed torsional direction. Further, since a reinforcing sheet made of cloth, paper, or the like is adhered with an adhesive so as to cover one entire surface of the belt-shaped veneer, the amount of material used increases and the adhesive is required, resulting in a high material cost. was there.

As described in JP-A-55-55, it is manufactured by the following method. That is, first, the two band-shaped veneers are overlapped with a slight displacement in the width direction with an adhesive interposed therebetween so that the two band-shaped veneers adhere to each other, and this is spirally wound around the mandrel. Wound so that it twists right. At this time, one side edge of each band-shaped veneer is brought into contact with the other side edge. Next, the other two band-shaped veneers were overlapped with each other slightly shifted in the width direction with an adhesive interposed therebetween so that the two band-shaped veneers adhered to each other, and this was wound first. It is spirally wound around the band-shaped veneer so as to be left-handed, thereby forming a cylindrical body composed of four layers of band-shaped veneer around the mandrel. At this time, one side edge of each band-shaped veneer is brought into contact with the other side edge. Thereafter, the tubular body is removed from the mandrel and the adhesive is dried at room temperature, or the adhesive is cured by heating. Thus, a wooden cylinder is manufactured.

However, there is a problem that a gap is generated between adjacent strip-shaped veneers, resulting in an adhesion defect.

A method of manufacturing a wooden tube including forming a cylindrical body composed of a plurality of layers of band-shaped veneers by winding them in a laminated shape so as to be mixed, and interposing an adhesive between adjacent band-shaped veneers inside and outside. In the above, after winding the outermost layer of a band-shaped veneer to form a tubular body, the elastic belt-shaped belt is spirally wound while applying tension around the tubular body, and the belt-shaped belt is used to form the tubular body. Covering the outer peripheral surface, temporarily fixing both ends of the belt-like belt to the tubular body, and removing the tubular body and the belt-like belt from the mandrel integrally, and bonding the inside and outside adjacent belt-like veneers in this state. Spirally wound and covered the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical body with a belt belt,
Temporarily fixing both ends of the belt-shaped belt to the tubular body, and removing the tubular body and the belt-shaped belt from the mandrel integrally with each other, and adhering the adjacent belt-like veneers inside and outside in this state. It is made of an elastic body wound around the cylindrical body by applying tension around the cylindrical body until the adjacent strip-shaped veneers are bonded inside and outside after the cylindrical body is removed from the mandrel. By the action of the belt-shaped belt, it is possible to continue to apply the tightening pressure necessary for bonding to the cylindrical body. Therefore, the winding pressure of the band-shaped veneer is prevented from being loosened until the adjacent band-shaped veneer is bonded inside and outside, and as a result, the occurrence of an adhesion defect between the inside and outside of the adjacent band-shaped veneer is prevented. Here, it is reasonable to alternately wind the right-hand twisted band-shaped veneer and the left-handed belt-shaped veneer one by one. In the case of winding one by one alternately, the total number of right-twisted band-shaped veneers and the total number of left-handed band-shaped veneers may be the same or different.

Thus, there is no difference between the torsional deformation when receiving the torsional load in the left twist direction and the torsional deformation when receiving the torsional load in the right twist direction.

In addition, if heating is required to bond the adjacent strips inside and outside after removal from the mandrel, the release layer thermally expands and pressure is applied to the tubular body from the inside, resulting in a further increase in adhesive strength. improves.

It is composed of a wound layer (4) of layers, for example, an even number of strip-shaped veneers (2). The inner and outer adjacent strip-shaped veneers (2) are bonded together with an adhesive. The side edges of the strip-shaped veneer (2) in each roll (4) are abutted. The side edges of the veneer veneer (2) can be abutted against each other when the two sides of the veneer (2) are in contact with each other, or by processing both sides of the veneer (2) toward the tip. In some cases, a gradually changing thickness portion having a reduced thickness is formed, and the gradually changing thickness portions are overlapped with each other. The diameter of the wooden tube (1) and the thickness of the peripheral wall are appropriately determined according to the purpose of use. Also, the thickness and width of each band-shaped veneer (2) are appropriately determined according to the purpose of use.

Is formed, and an adhesive is interposed between the adjacent band-shaped veneers (2) inside and outside. Therefore, in the cylindrical body (16), the single veneer (2) wound to be twisted left and the single veneer (2) wound to be twisted right are alternately arranged. And the same number in total. However, the total number of strip-shaped veneers (2) wound to form a left-hand twist and the total number of band-shaped veneers (2) wound to form a right-hand twist depend on the application and purpose. It may be different. As the adhesive, a heat-curable adhesive such as a phenol-based, amino-based, or isocyanate-based resin adhesive, or a room-temperature-dryable adhesive such as a wood adhesive is used.

Is wound spirally while applying tension to the periphery of the cylindrical body, and the outer peripheral surface of the tubular body (17) is covered with the belt-shaped belt (17). Next, the rotation of the mandrel (10) is stopped, and both ends of the belt-shaped belt (17) are stopped by a stop ring (18).
Is temporarily fixed to the cylindrical body (16). The elastic belt-shaped belt (17) has a tensile strength of at least 100 kg / cm.
As described above, it is preferable to use an elastic material such as rubber having a characteristic that the tension at 1% elongation is 3 to 35 kgf / cm.

Put into a heating furnace and heat. The heating temperature is 140 to 160 ° C. when the adhesive is a phenol resin adhesive, 130 to 140 ° C. when the melamine resin adhesive is used, and 60 to 100 ° C. when the nosorcinol, isocyanate resin adhesive, or urea resin adhesive is used. . During the above heating,
The metal tube (11) thermally expands and pressure is applied to the tubular body (16) from inside, and as a result, the adhesive is applied while applying pressure from both inside and outside together with the tightening pressure from the outside of the belt belt (17). Can be cured. When the adhesive is cured by heating, the belt-like belt (17) is peeled off from the tubular body (16), and the tubular body (16) is loosened by using a special extrusion device or by giving humidity to the metallic tube ( Remove from 11). Thus, a wooden tube (1) is manufactured.
