It is manufactured by curing a photosensitive material and then washing away the unexposed portions of the photosensitive material. After the original printing plate has been used for printing, it is customary to wash the ink etc. that adhered to it with a solvent and preserve it in order to use it again. In order to protect the adhesive, or to cover up the visible adhesive, which is unsightly, adhesive is applied to the metal-deposited surface of the plastic film, which has a metal-deposited film on the screen of the frame of the printing plate. A tape (commonly known as silver tape) 3 coated with is applied.

原版が作成されている場合がある。 By the way, there is no particular problem when applying the silver tape after applying a photosensitizer, exposing it, washing off the unexposed areas, and then applying the silver tape.
Printing master plates are often created at the printing shop that uses them, and it is troublesome to attach silver tape at each printing shop after the master plate is created, so silver tape is pasted on the frame after applying the photosensitive material. In some cases, the printed matter is supplied as a printing plate, and a printing original plate is created in the above-described manner at each printing shop.

When cleaning with a solvent, water, etc., this unexposed photosensitive material oozes out, staining the original printing plate, and also causes problems such as part of the silver tape peeling off.

The present invention is a tape for framing a screen printing plate, which is made by applying an adhesive to the metal-deposited surface of a plastic film having a metal-deposited film with a visible light transmittance of 10% or more (according to JIS A 5759).

に到つた。 As a result of various studies to solve the above-mentioned problems, the inventor of the present invention discovered that in a plastic film with a thin metal-deposited film, the thin metal-deposited film has light transmittance, and that the film can be attached to a frame. The inventors have found that when this is done, the light is reflected sufficiently and the shading power is also sufficient.Based on this knowledge, the present invention was developed.

The plastic film 4 may be made of any material that has light transmittance, such as polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon, polyester, etc. However, from the viewpoint of transparency and dimensional stability, polyester is preferable. The thickness can be arbitrarily selected from several μm to several 100 μm.

ましい。 Although any metal can be used for the metal vapor deposition film 5, aluminum vapor deposition film is generally used, and its thickness is on the order of several hundred angstroms, and the visible light transmittance of the metal vapor deposition film is higher than that of the adhesive layer. It is necessary to use a material that has been deposited with a thickness that is 10% or more including the thickness. If the visible light transmittance is less than 10%, the desired effect cannot be obtained. There is no particular upper limit on the visible light transmittance, but in general, if the light transmittance is 30% or more, if the tape is attached to the frame of the printing plate from above the screen, the tape used to adhere the screen to the frame will be reduced. This is not preferable because the adhesive becomes transparent, and a visible light transmittance of 10 to 30%, particularly around 20%, is preferable.

Although hot-melt adhesives, solvent-based adhesives, and the like may be used, pressure-sensitive adhesives are preferred for ease of handling. A commonly used adhesive may be applied to a thickness within a commonly used range. It is preferable to use a colorless and transparent adhesive as the adhesive, in which case it does not affect the visible light transmittance in any way.

である。 The proposed tape is usually stored with a release paper pasted on it, but when it is rolled into a roll, in order to make it easier to unwind it, the back side of the tape must be treated or a primer coat applied to the adhesive surface. It is natural to do this.

If a photosensitive material is applied to the frame of a screen coated with the tape, the photosensitive material in the area to which the tape is applied (frame) will also be cured by exposure, so when cleaning the printing plate with a solvent etc. after using it, The unexposed (uncured) photosensitive material is not eluted, so there is no fear that the original printing plate will be stained, and an appearance comparable to that of conventional plates can be obtained.
