Abstract
PURPOSE: To effect exact sticking by use of an automatically sticking machine, by preventing squeeze-out of an adhesive and forming a nonpressure-sensitive portion in various manners by coating the back face of a substrate with the adhesive and forming a desensitizer layer on a part of the adhesive layer.
CONSTITUTION: The entire back face of substrate 1 composed of paper such as machine-made paper, coated paper or synthetic paper, synthetic resin sheet, etc. and formed into an adequate shape is coated with an adhesive to form an adherent layer 2. A desensitizer layer is formed in a part of the surface of said adherent layer 2, e.g. the periphery of the substrate by applying a desensitizer mixed with titanium oxide or another colored pigment, to cover a part of the adherent layer 2 with said desensitizer layer 3. Release sheet 4 supporting the substrate 1 is additionally attached temporarily on the surface of the adherent layer 2, to form a continuous substrate 1.
