図示A側)が軸方向にずれて、アツパフオイル2
がハウジング4内で軸方向に傾きアンバランスな
変形状態を生じるのを防止することができない。
すなわち、かかるアンバランスを生じると、アツ
パフオイル2の位置によつて回転軸1に対する弾
性力が変化して回転軸1に不安定な支持状態を発
生したり、著しくはアツパフオイル2の軸方向一
端側が回転軸1に巻き付くように接触してこれに
干渉するトラブルを発生することになる。

4には、第3図に示すように、その両端部に開口
端面側が大径となる段部11を全周に亘つて設け
ている。しかして、この軸受ハウジング4に対
し、前記アツパフオイル2は、従前のものと同様
にその一端に設けたキー7をハウジング4内面の
軸方向に設けたキー溝8に嵌合させて周方向に移
動不能に固定するようにしているとともに、前記
各切起片13の端縁13aを前記段部11の端面
11aに略直交状態で当接させて、アツパフオイ
ル2を軸方向に移動不能に保持し得るように掛止
させている。

で、格別な突起をアツパフオイルに固着する場合
に比べて製作がはるかに簡単なものとなる。しか
も、その切起片の端縁をハウジングの段部端面に
当接させてアツパフオイルの位置決めを行うよう
にしているので、アツパフオイルの位置がずれよ
うとした場合には、前記切起片には厚み方向では
なく、幅方向に荷重が作用することになる。その
ため、薄肉なアツパフオイルから切り起こした切
起片であつても、比較的高い剛性を示すことにな
り、アツパフオイルの位置ずれや変形を有効に防
止することができるものである。
