Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide plural stud bolts at the prescribed positions with high accuracy by abutting a jig on which holes corresponding to the prescribed provision positions of the stud bolts are arranged on a structural body and inserting the barrel of a stud gun into the holes of the jig to provide the bolts. CONSTITUTION:After the deposition surface of the stud provision of the structural body 5 is polished by an air sander, etc., the stud providing jig 6 is fitted to the structural body 5 by bolting, etc., via a bracket. Then, the barrel of the stud gun 1 holding the stud bolts 3 is inserted into polyvinyl chloride pipes 9 inserted into the respective holes 6A of the stud providing jig 6. While arc shielding materials fitted to the tips of the bolts 3 are brought into contact with the deposition surface of the structural body 5 of base metal, gas is produced and further, the stud tips and a part of the deposition surface are molten by a welding arc whose current is increased. After the tips of the bolts 3 are pressed in the deposition surface, the current is cut off and a molten part is cooled and solidified and the deposition is finished. A jig for correction on which many holes are provided is used to correct falling of the bolts 3 and complete the welding work.

Conventionally, when using a plurality of stud bolts for repairing a steel pipe pile, as shown in Fig. 8, the steel pipe pile 2 is marked like an arrow M to indicate the driving position, and the bolt is placed at this position as shown in Fig. 9. The stud gun 1, which has improved stability by increasing the contact area of the tip IA, was pressed against the steel pipe pile 2 to drive the stud.

However, in the repair of such steel pipe piles 2, there is no problem even if the positions of the multiple stud bolts 3 are slightly shifted, but in recent years, when installing fenders, it is necessary to attach the frame to the underwater structure using the stud bolts 3. As a result, it became necessary to improve the driving accuracy of each of the plurality of stud bolts 3.

The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a sectional side view of the main part showing a stud driving state to which the stud bolt driving method of the present invention is applied, and FIG. Figure 3 is a front view of the stud setting jig, Figure 3 is a side view of Figure 2, and Figure 4 is a side view of the stud setting jig.
5, 6, and 7 are explanatory diagrams of the stud construction procedure of the present invention.

Therefore, in the present invention, as described above, the holes 6A corresponding to the predetermined driving positions of the stud bolts 3 are arranged.
A stud setting jig 6 as shown in the figure is attached to the structure 5.
After mounting with appropriate means such as a bracket 7 as shown in FIG. 5, the slender barrel of the stud gun 1 is inserted into a pipe, such as a PVC pipe 9, inserted into each hole 6A. The stud bolt 3 held by the gun barrel is driven into the structure 5, and the stud gun 1 has a smaller contact area at the tip IA of the stud gun 1 shown in the conventional example shown in FIG. The bolts 3 are welded and installed using a known method.

Next, to explain the procedure for stud welding according to the stud bolt 3 driving method of the present invention, first, as shown in the perspective view of FIG. After drilling, a stud setting jig 6 as shown in the front view of FIG. 5 is attached to the structure 5 via a bracket 7 by bolting or the like.

Therefore, as shown in the side cross-sectional view of FIG. 6, the barrel of the stud gun 1 with the stud bolt 3 held in its mouth is inserted into the PVC pipe 9 inserted into each member 6A of the stud setting jig 6.
While the arc shielding material attached to the tip of the stud bolt 3 is brought into contact with the welding surface of the structure 5, which is the base material, a pilot arc generates gas, and a welding arc with a stronger current is used to separate the stud tip and the welding surface. After melting a part of and pushing the tip of stud bolt 3 into the welding surface,
The current is cut off, the melted part cools and solidifies, and welding is completed.
