- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.中空のシリンダと、該シリンダにより支持された、軸方向に間隔をあけて配 置されたコイル巻線の列と、前記シリンダ内に滑動可能に配置された、その中で 長さ方向に往復運動するピストン弁アセンブリと、該ピストン弁アセンブリに固 定されて取り付けられた、前記列内のコイル巻線の順次の通電に応答してそれに より動かされる永久磁石手段とからなり、前記ピストン弁アセンブリが、直径方 向のサポートリングおよび該直径のサポートリング内に間隔をあけて配置された 軸に関して旋回運動するように支持された少なくとも2つの弁リーフレットから なることを特徴とする外科埋込み型往復ポンプ。 2.前記コイル巻線の列が前記中空のシリンダに沿って均一に間隔をあけた関係 で配置されていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載の外科埋込み型往復ポ ンプ。 3.前記コイル巻線の列の間に配置された帯磁しやすい材料を備えることを特徴 とする請求の範囲第2項記載の外科埋込み型往復ポンプ。 4.前記コイル巻線の列の間に配置された帯磁しやすい材料が積層形態にあるこ とを特徴とする請求の範囲第3項記載の外科埋込み型往復ポンプ。 5.前記ポンプの作動をコントロールするコントローラを備えていることを特徴 とする請求の範囲第1項記載の外科埋込み型往復ポンプ。 6.前記コントローラに接続されたペースメーカを備え、前記ポンプが患者の血 管内に埋め込まれ、前記コントローラが、前記ペースメーカから供給された信号 に応答して、前記ピストン弁の往復運動を患者の心臓からの血液の駆出に同調さ せることを特徴とする請求の範囲第5項記載の外科埋込み型往復ポンプ。 7.前記患者の心臓から導かれる心外膜リードを備え、前記コントローラが、該 心外膜リードからの心電図信号に応答して、前記ピストン弁の往復運動を前記患 者の心臓からの血液の駆出に同調させることを特徴とする請求の範囲第5項記載 の外科埋込み型往復ポンプ。 8.前記コントローラが、前記コイル巻線の列から検出される信号を用いて前記 ピストン弁の往復運動を血液の駆出に同調させることを特徴とする請求の範囲 第5項記載の外科埋込み型往復ポンプ。 9.前記中空のシリンダの一方の端部に位置する静止弁を備えていることを特徴 とする請求の範囲第1項記載の外科埋込み型往復ポンプ。 10.前記往復ポンプが、約6cm以下の外径および約7.5cm以下の長さを有 することを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載の外科埋込み型往復ポンプ。 11.前記中空のシリンダの内径が大動脈の内径と実質的に同一であることを特徴 とする請求の範囲第1項記載の外科埋込み型往復ポンプ。 12.第1の金属リングと、内皮促進外側被覆および服従内側層からなる2部縫合 リングとからなる、前記中空のシリンダの各々の端部の大動脈とポンプとの接続 部を備えていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第11項記載の外科埋込み型往復ポン プ。 13.前記中空のシリンダの端部から延在する複数の片持ちバーブ、該片持ちバー ブが収容される凹部を有する維持リングおよび該維持リングを血管に接続する縫 合カフを備えていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第11項記載の外科埋込み型往復 ポンプ。 14.前記中空のシリンダの内径が、肺動脈の内径と実質的に同一であることを特 徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載の外科埋込み型往復ポンプ。 15.前記中空のシリンダおよびピストン弁アセンブリのうちの一方が、実質的に 硬い生物学的適合性材料からなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載の外科 埋込み型往復ポンプ。 り付けられ、該ピストンの周囲表面に半径方向外側に向けられた軸方向に間隔の おかれた磁極を有する永久磁石装置と、 前記中空のシリンダにより軸方向に間隔のおかれた関係に支持されたコイル 巻線の列と、 前記ピストンに軸方向の力を加えて、電気的巻線の順次の通電と同調したコ ントロールされた様式で前記中空のシリンダを通して長さ方向に該ピストンを移 動させるように、コントロールされた様式で前記列内のコイル巻線を順次通電す るコントロール手段とからなり、該順次通電が、前記ピストンがいずれかの方向 から順次通電された巻線のパターンにより近付けられるときに、前記通電された 巻線に向かって該ピストンを引き付けるように配列されていることを特徴とする 往復ポンプ循環補助装置。 21.前記永久磁石装置内の磁極のピッチが、前記コイル巻線の軸方向の間隔の整 入口端および出口端を有する中空のシリンダと、該中空のシリンダにより軸 方向に間隔のおかれた関係に支持されたコイル巻線の列と、該シリンダ内に滑動 可能に配置され、前記コイル巻線の順次の通電に応答して長さ方向に移動するピ ストン弁アセンブリであって、直径方向のサポートリング内で旋回運動して、流 体に関する相対運動に応答して周期的に開閉するように支持された少なくとも2 つの弁リーフレットからなるピストン弁アセンブリと、前記ピストン弁に固定し て取り付けられてそれとともに移動する、軸方向に間隔のおかれた磁極を有する 永久磁石装置とからなる外科埋込み型往復ポンプを提供し、 前記中空のシリンダの第1の端部に前記ピストン弁アセンブリを配置し、 該中空のシリンダ中に流体を導入し、 前記コイル巻線に順次通電して前記中空のシリンダの第1の端部に前記ピス トン弁アセンブリを動かし、それによって、前記流体を通る前記ピストン弁の移 動により生じた力が前記弁リーフレットを閉じて、該流体が該ピストン弁を通過 するのを妨げて、該流体を該中空のシリンダの第2の端部から駆出させ、 前記コイル巻線に反対方向に順次通電して前記中空のシリンダの第1の端部 に前記ピストン弁を動かし、それによって、前記流体を通る前記ピストン弁の移 動により生じた力が前記弁リーフレットを開く各工程からなり、前記ピスト ンが順次通電された巻線のパターンによりいずれかの方向から近付けられたとき に該ピストンを前記通電された巻線に向かって引き付けられるように前記コイル 巻線の順次の通電が配列されていることを特徴とする方法。 38.前記流体が血液であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第37項記載の方法。 39.患者内の血液の流動を必要なときに補助する方法であって、往復ポンプを心 室流出動脈中に外科的に埋め込む工程からなり、該ポンプが、中空のシリンダと 、該シリンダ内に滑動可能に配置された、その内を長さ方向に移動するピストン 弁アセンブリであって、直径方向のサポートリングおよび該直径方向のサポート リング内の間隔のおかれた軸に関して旋回運動するように支持された少なくとも 2つの弁リーフレットからなるピストン弁アセンブリと、コイル巻線の順次の通 電に対応して、前記ピストン弁に固定して取り付けられてそれとともに移動する 磁石部材とからなり、前記ポンプが、心室により駆出された血液を該ポンプ中に これに通して流動させるような様式で配置されていることを特徴とする方法。 40.前記ポンプが、外科手術後も機能的のままである大動脈弁の下流で、該大動 脈壁内の全ての冠状動脈開口部の下流の、上行大動脈中に外科的に埋め込まれる ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第39項記載の方法。 41.前記ポンプが、外科手術後も機能的のままである肺動脈弁の下流の、肺動脈 中に外科的に埋め込まれることを特徴とする請求の範囲第39項記載の方法。 42.前記ポンプが、心室流出動脈中に外科的に埋め込まれ、 (a) 心室流出動脈を横断して、それによって、動脈壁の2つの露出されて横 断された端部を形成し、 (b) 前記ポンプの各々の端部に接続された動脈取付装置を用いて、前記動脈 壁の横断された端部の間に往復ポンプを埋め込む、 各工程からなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第39項記載の方法。 43.患者内の血液の流動をその必要に応じて補助する方法であって、直線電子ポ ンプを心室流出動脈中に外科的に埋め込む工程からなり、前記ポンプが、心室に より駆出される血液を該ポンプ中にこれを通して流動させるような方法で配置さ れ、該ポンプが、 (1) 内部を通過する直線流路と、それぞれ血液の流入および流出のためのハウ ジングの各々の端部にある開口部を有するハウジングであって、各々の端部が動 脈取付装置に接続されているハウジング; (2) 該ハウジング内に滑動可能に取り付けられた直線ポンピング手段; (3) 天然の心室駆出により血液を前記直線流路に流し続けるような様式に設計されて いることを特徴とする方法。 44.第1の外科埋込み型ポンプおよび第2の外科埋込み型ポンプであって、各々 のポンプが、中空のシリンダと、該シリンダ内に滑動可能に配置された、その中 を長さ方向に動くピストンと、該ピストンに固定して取り付けられてそれととも に動き、該ピストンの外面に半径方向外側に向かう間隔のおかれた磁極を有する 永久磁石部材と、前記中空のシリンダに沿って軸方向に間隔のおかれた電気巻線 の列と、該間隔のおかれた電気巻線の間にある高透磁率で高飽和磁気材料とを備 え、それによって、前記永久磁極により形成されたフラックスが前記電気巻線を 連結し、前記第1のポンプが肺動脈の右枝内に埋め込まれ、前記第2のポンプが 肺動脈の左枝内に埋め込まれている第1のポンプおよび第2のポンプ、並びに、 各々のポンプのピストンに軸方向に力を加えて、前記電気巻線の順次の通電 と同調するようなコントロールされた様式で前記中空のシリンダに長さ方向に前 記対応するピストンを動かすようにコントロールされた様式で各々のポンプ内の 列になった前記電気巻線を順次通電するコントロール手段、 からなる心室補助装置。 45.第1の外科埋込み型ポンプおよび第2の外科埋込み型ポンプであって、各々 のポンプが、中空のシリンダと、該シリンダ内に滑動可能に配置された、その 中を長さ方向に動くピストンと、該ピストンに固定して取り付けられてそれとと もに動き、該ピストンの外面に半径方向外側に向かう間隔のおかれた磁極を有す る永久磁石部材と、前記中空のシリンダに沿って軸方向に間隔のおかれた電気巻 線の列と、該間隔のおかれた電気巻線の間にある高透磁率で高飽和磁気材料とを 備え、それによって、前記永久磁極により形成されたフラックスが前記電気巻線 を連結し、前記第1のポンプの入口端が右心室に接続され、該第1のポンプの出 口端が肺動脈に接続され、前記第2のポンプの入口端が左心室に接続され、該第 2のポンプの出口端が大動脈に接続されている第1のポンプおよび第2のポンプ 、並びに、 各々のポンプのピストンに軸方向に力を加えて、前記電気巻線の順次の通電 と同調するようなコントロールされた様式で前記中空のシリンダに長さ方向に前 記対応するピストンを動かすようにコントロールされた様式で各々のポンプ内の 列になった前記電気巻線を順次通電するコントロール手段、 からなる全人工心臓。 46.中空のシリンダと、該シリンダにより支持された軸方向に間隔のおかれたコ イル巻線の列と、該シリンダ内に軸方向に間隔がおかれて配置された磁極を有す る、前記コイル巻線の順次の通電に応答して該シリンダ内を往復運動する永久磁 石装置と、該永久磁石装置が順次通電された巻線のパターンによりいずれの方向 から近付けられるときに、該永久磁石装置を前記通電された巻線に向かって引き 付けるようなコントロールされた様式で該コイル巻線を順次通電するコントロー ル手段とからなるリニアモータ。 47.前記コイル巻線の列の間に配置された帯磁しやすい材料を備えていることを 特徴とする請求の範囲第46項記載のリニアモータ。 48.前記コイル巻線の列の間に配置された帯磁しやすい材料が積層形態にあるこ とを特徴とする請求の範囲第47項記載のリニアモータ。 49.前記磁極の間隔が、前記コイル巻線の間隔の整数倍と等しいことを特徴とす る請求の範囲第46項記載のリニアモータ。 50.前記磁極の間隔が、前記コイル巻線の間隔の整数倍と等しくないことを特徴 とする請求の範囲第46項記載のリニアモータ。 51.前記磁極が半径方向外側に向けられており、各々の磁極の幅が前記コイル巻 線の間隔の整数倍と等しいことを特徴とする請求の範囲第46項記載のリニアモー タ。 52.前記磁極が半径方向外側に向けられており、各々の磁極の幅が前記コイル巻 線の間隔の整数倍と等しくないことを特徴とする請求の範囲第46項記載のリニア モータ。 53.前記磁石アセンブリが、軸方向に向けられた永久磁石と、該永久磁石からの フラックスを半径方向外側に前記コイル巻線に向かわせるように配列された該永 久磁石の各々の端部に隣接した極片とからなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第46 項記載のリニアモータ。 54.前記永久磁石装置が、反対の方向に磁化された隣接する永久磁石部材からな り、各々の永久磁石部材が半径方向外側に向けられた1つの磁極を有し、それに よって、軸方向に間隔のおかれた関係で前記コイル巻線に隣接した反対の磁極を 提供することを特徴とする請求の範囲第46項記載のリニアモータ。 55.各々の磁石部材が環状永久磁石からなり、前記永久磁石装置が、前記隣接す る環状磁石部材の間に配置された高透磁率材料を備えて、該隣接する環状磁石部 材の半径方向内側の極の間に磁束の低磁気抵抗路を提供することを特徴とする請 求の範囲第54項記載のリニアモータ。 56.一方向電源手段および該電源手段を前記コイル巻線に接続する電気切換手段 を備えて、前記コントロール手段からのコントロール信号により該電源手段から いずれかの方向に前記巻線を選択的に通電することを特徴とする請求の範囲第46 項記載のリニアモータ。 57.前記コントロール手段が前記電気切換手段をコントロールして、前記永久磁 石装置の一方の側の前記コイル手段に一方の方向に通電し、該永久磁石装置が前 記シリンダ内で動くときに順次該永久磁石装置の他方の側のコイル手段に反対方 向に通電することを特徴とすることを特徴とする請求の範囲第56項記載のリニア モータ。 58.前記コイル巻線に供給された電流を検出する電流検出手段を備え、前記コン トロール手段が該電流検出手段により示された電流レベルを検出して前記コイ ル巻線の通電をコントロールして、その中に過剰の電流が流れるのを防ぐことを 特徴とする請求の範囲第46項記載のリニアモータ。 59.前記コイル巻線に通電する電力を供給する充電式電池手段と、電源から前記 充電式電池手段を再充電する充電手段と、再充電中に前記コイル巻線に連続して 通電するように、前記充電式電池手段を前記コントロール手段から切断せずに該 充電式電池手段を前記電源から再充電させる相互接続手段とを備えていることを 特徴とする請求の範囲第46項記載のリニアモータ。 60.1つ以上の電池槽の反転により生じる電池電圧の低下を防ぐバイパスダイオ ード手段を備えていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第59項記載のリアニモータ。 61.前記充電式電池手段を包み込む、不活性ガスが充填されて、過充電の結果と して該充電式電池手段から発散されるガスを捕捉するカプセル封入手段を備えて いることを特徴とする請求の範囲第59項記載のリニアモータ。 62.2つの並列分岐からなる冗長切換ブリッジ手段を備え、各々の分岐が、2種 類の一連のスイッチを有し、前記コントロール手段からの通常のコントロール入 力に接続されて、1つのスイッチが適切に作動しないために前記切換ブリッジ手 段の全体的な状態を不正確にするのを防ぐことを特徴とする請求の範囲第46項記 載のリニアモータ。 63.前記コントロール手段が、前記4つのスイッチのうちのいずれかが他のスイ ッチと同一の状態にないかを同定して、該コントロール手段に故障表示を送って 冗長度が損失されたことを示す回路手段を備えていることを特徴とする請求の範 囲第62項記載のリニアモータ。 64.前記永久磁石装置が、前記シリンダ内に間隙の少ない状態で取り付けられて 、該シリンダ内のピストンの往復運動の最中に該ピストンと該シリンダとの間の 流体の漏れを最小にし、該ピストン内に配置されて、前記シリンダ内で該ピスト ンの一方向の運動の最中のみに流体が該ピストンに通って流動させるチェック弁 手段を備えたピストンと、前記シリンダの一方の端部を流体の供給源に接続する 導管および前記ピストンの反対の端部を流体の出口に接続する導管を備えた導管 手段と、前記導管の一方の内部に取り付けられ、前記ピストンがその内部の前記 チェック弁手段が閉じられた状態で動いているときに流体を流動さ せ、流体の流動を遮蔽するチェック弁とからなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第 46項記載のリニアモータ。 65.前記永久磁石装置が、前記シリンダ内の該永久磁石アセンブリの往復運動の 最中に複動ポンプを構成するように、該シリンダとの密接適合シールを形成する ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第46項記載のリニアモータ。 66.電源を供給する電池手段、該電池手段を充電する充電手段、人体から前記電 池手段を隔離する匡体手段、および充電中に前記電池手段により生成されるガス を保持する前記匡体手段内のガス保持手段からなることを特徴とする外科埋込み 型電源。 67.内部ガス圧が選択したレベルを越えたときに破裂するように配置された前記 匡体手段内のシール手段、および該シール手段が破裂したときに前記匡体手段内 からのガスを受容する該匡体手段の外側にある膨脹式ガス容器手段を備えている ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第66項記載の外科埋込み型電源。 68.冗長度を必要とする装置に使用する電気回路であって、高電圧レベルのコン ダクタ、低電圧レベルのコンダクタ、該高電圧コンダクタと該低電圧コンダクタ との間に各々が直列に接続された並列の複数の切換手段、および該並列の複数の 切換手段内の対応点の間の電圧差を検出する電圧比較手段を備えた冗長ブリッジ 手段からなることを特徴とする電気回路。 69.埋込み型循環補助装置をモニタしてコントロールする遠隔モニタリング装置 であって、人体内に埋め込まれたマイクロコントローラ手段、前記埋め込まれた マイクロコントローラにより提供された情報を遠隔位置に送信する送信手段、お よび前記マイクロコントローラから送信された前記情報をモニタする前記遠隔位 置にあるモニタリング手段からなることを特徴とする遠隔モニタリング装置。 70.前記マイクロコントローラ手段が、プログラムでき、前記モニタリング手段 の前記遠隔位置から該マイクロコントローラ手段をプログラムする遠隔プログラ ミング手段を備えていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第69項記載の遠隔モニタリ ング装置。 71.人体内の血管に医療装置を接続する接続装置であって、金属リングと、内皮 促進外側カバーおよび前記金属リングに一方の端部で接続され、前記人体内の血 管に他方の端部で接続可能な服従内側層からなる2部縫合リングとを備えている ことを特徴とする接続装置。 72.前記金属リングに接続される医療装置と、該医療装置上と前記金属リンク上 にある、複数の弾性的に相互に噛み合う突起物および互いに向かう軸方向の運動 の際に連結され、相対的な回転運動と互いから離れる軸方向に運動により外され るように配置された凹部からなる接続手段とを備えていることを特徴とする請求 の範囲第71項記載の接続装置。
