In the conventional receiver dryer described above, since both the inlet and outlet of the refrigerant are arranged in the head portion on the upper surface of the receiver dryer,
It is convenient for piping. This advantage is particularly advantageous in the case of piping to a receiver dryer installed as an option, especially when the car air conditioner is an optional device. However, in recent years, standard installation of car air conditioners has advanced, and car air conditioners have been built into the engine room from the beginning. In the case of such a car air conditioner as standard equipment, the degree of freedom of piping and the like increases, and it is not necessary to provide an inlet and an outlet at the head portion of the receiver dryer. When the degree of freedom in the arrangement positions of the refrigerant inlet and outlet is increased, the structure of the receiver dryer main body can be simplified, which contributes to resource saving. The present invention provides a receiver dryer that removes water in a refrigerant with a simple structure.

An example of the shape of the slit formed in the lower filter member 40 is shown in FIG. 4 with a front view and a side view of a cross section AB. The refrigerant passing through the drying chamber 20 and the lower non-woven fabric 42 collides with the protrusion 43 formed in the shape of an armored door in a constant direction on the circumference, and is blown out in a constant direction from the notch 44 to generate a swirling flow. It is molded to be. By this action, the liquid-phase refrigerant 28 falls along the peripheral wall of the liquid-phase refrigerant chamber 24, and it is possible to prevent noise and the like from being generated. In addition, when the liquid surface 28a of the liquid-phase refrigerant 28 swells, a problem that gas in the liquid-phase refrigerant chamber 24 is mixed occurs. In order to prevent this ripple, a mesh plate member 25 may be provided as a floating lid on the liquid surface 28a. The refrigerant chamber 28 is delivered to the cooling system via the outlet 14.
