Abstract

PURPOSE:To inexpensively and efficiently produce a decorative plate for use to make the furniture having a beautifully and arcuately curved surface formed on its surface. CONSTITUTION:A decorative sheet 3 and a base plate 1 are attached to the arcuately curved surface and the rear surface respectively of a foam resin or rubber made core plate 2 by applying adhesive agent to their joining faces, such joining faces are pressed together closely by press, both the side edges 4 of the decorative sheet 3 are bent along the side edges 5 of the base plate 1 and, in this condition, they are allowed to stand for a predetermined time until the adhesive agent is hardened, thereby forming an arcuately curved surface on the decorative plate. When this decorative plate is used on the doors of closet or other household supply storing furniture, the arcuately curved surface on the decorative plate is conducive to the production of an appealing furniture.

However, in the case of manufacturing a decorative plate having a curved surface, the coating applied when the coating is applied to the surface of the veneer or the like is liable to flow, and the coating is difficult. However, since the surface to be polished is a curved surface, it is difficult to perform mechanical polishing, and there is a problem that productivity is lowered.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS First, an embodiment of the first invention will be described with reference to the drawings. As shown in FIG. 1, a rectangular substrate 1 using plywood, a rectangular urethane substrate 1 having the same size as the rectangular substrate 1, and a core plate 2 made of urethane foam having an arcuate surface. A rectangular decorative sheet 3 having the same front and rear width and a large left and right width is manufactured in advance as the substrate 1 and the core plate 2. The decorative sheet 3 is coated on the surface of a cloth or veneer with a pattern, for example, Japanese paper adhered to the back surface (other than normal coating U
V painting is also included. same as below. ) Decorative sheet,
A transparent acrylic resin sheet with an arbitrary pattern on the back,
Acrylic resin sheet colored in any color, a decorative sheet coated on the surface of a vinyl chloride resin sheet with or without an arbitrary pattern, for example, the surface of a decorative paper made of a composite material of paper and resin A decorative sheet that has been painted on
However, the decorative sheet is not limited to those exemplified above as long as the decorative sheet does not require a final surface finishing treatment.
Next, the decorative sheet 3 is applied to the arc-shaped surface of the core plate 2 and the substrate 1 is applied to the back surface of the core plate 2 by applying an adhesive to the overlapping surfaces, and then overlapping (pressing (preferably heating to an appropriate temperature). The overlapping surfaces are brought into close contact with each other by a vacuum press, and both side edges 4 of the decorative sheet 3 are bent along the side edges 5 of the substrate 1 and left for a predetermined time until the adhesive is cured. As shown in 2, an arcuate surface is formed on the surface of the decorative plate.

Next, an embodiment of the second invention will be described.
A rectangular substrate 1 using plywood as in the above embodiment,
A rigid urethane foam core plate 2 having the same size as the rectangular substrate 1 and having an arcuate surface.
A square unfinished decorative coating sheet 3'having the same front and rear width and a large left and right width as the above-mentioned substrate 1 and core plate 2 is manufactured in advance. For the above-mentioned unfinished decorative sheet 3 ', for example, the surface of the veneer with the Japanese paper attached to the back surface is subjected to bare sanding, coloring, first intermediate coating, surface polishing, second intermediate coating and surface polishing in sequence. The applied non-finished decorative sheet is used. Next, the non-finished coating decorative sheet 3'is applied to the arc-shaped surface of the core plate 2 and the substrate 1 is applied to the back surface of the core plate 2 by applying an adhesive to each of the overlapping surfaces, and the sheets are overlapped by a press. The surfaces are brought into close contact with each other, and both side edges 4 of the unfinished coating decorative sheet 3'are bent along the side edges 5 of the substrate 1 and left for a predetermined time until the adhesive is cured. A finish coating is applied to the surface of the finish coating decorative sheet 3'to form an arcuate surface on the surface of the decorative plate as shown in FIG. It is desirable to attach edge plates (not shown) formed in the same shape to the upper and lower end surfaces of the manufactured decorative plate shown in FIG. 2 by sticking or the like.

The decorative plate manufactured by the method according to the present invention has an aesthetic arcuate surface formed on the surface thereof, and a core plate made of foamed resin or rubber is provided between the arcuate surface and the substrate. By the elasticity is given to the arcuate surface by this, because it has a cushioning effect, if this decorative plate is used, for example, as a door for various kinds of storage furniture such as a chest of drawers, etc. Can be provided.

Further, conventionally, for example, a veneer was attached to the curved surface formed on the surface of the core material, and the surface of the veneer was subjected to a series of coating treatments such as coloring, intermediate coating, polishing and finish coating. It was difficult to perform the polishing treatment for the above by mechanical polishing, but in the first invention, a decorative sheet that does not require the final surface finishing treatment, and in the second invention, only the finish coating is required. Since it is decided to manufacture each of the unfinished coated decorative sheets in advance, the surface polishing after the intermediate coating can be performed by mechanical polishing, and the productivity is greatly improved. Combined with the use of a foamed resin core plate, a significant cost reduction can be achieved.

Further, in the past, in the case of manufacturing a decorative plate having a curved surface, it was difficult to form an aesthetic decorative surface because the applied paint flows easily and is difficult to apply. Since the decorative sheet or the unfinished decorative sheet is to be manufactured in advance, the difficulty of such coating is eliminated, and it is possible to provide a decorative plate having an aesthetic arcuate surface. Particularly, in the second aspect of the invention, after the unfinished decorative sheet is attached to the arcuate surface of the core plate, the surface of the unfinished decorative sheet is subjected to the finish coating. However, even if the unfinished decorative sheet is forcibly bent by a press, it is less likely to crack as compared to a decorative sheet that has been subjected to the finish coating. Since the amount of paint applied is small and it is applied thinly on the surface, even if the applied surface is a curved surface, there is almost no risk that the applied paint will flow. This is suitable when using a veneer or the like that is liable to cause a crack, and it is possible to provide a decorative plate having an extremely aesthetic arcuate surface.
