Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.a)典型的なスルホン化反応器において脂肪酸アルキルエステルを少なくと も10モル%過剰のSO3と反応させ、b)スルホン化粗生成物を加熱冷却系を 備えた撹拌タンクの少なくとも2段階のカスケードに送り、その中でスルホン化 度が少なくとも90%に達するまで機械的に撹拌し4から温度制御下の後反応に 処し、c)このようにエージングしたスルホン化生成物を更に既知の方法で処理 し、α−スルホ脂肪酸アルキルエステルアルカリ金属塩ペーストにすることを特 徴とする、脂肪酸アルキルエステルとSO3ガスとの反応、その後の実質上理想 的に撹拌された液相中における後反応およびアルカリ金属水溶液を用いた中和に よる薄色α−スルホ脂肪酸アルキルエステルアルカリ金属塩ペーストの製造方法 。 2.SO3ガスを、1〜10容量%のSO3を含有するSO3/空気混合物また はSO3/窒素混合物の状態で使用することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法 。 3.SO3との反応を、脂肪酸アルキルエステルのSO3に対するモル比を1: 1.2〜1:1.8にして行うことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の方法 。 4.SO3との反応を、流下フィルム反応器または多段階スルホン化カスケード において行うことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の方法。 5.撹拌タンクのカスケードが3〜6段階、好ましくは4段階から成ることを特 徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の方法。 6.撹拌タンクのカスケードの加熱冷却系がパイプコイルまたは熱交換式ジャケ ットから構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の方法 。 7.カスケードの全ての撹拌タンクにおいて、発熱反応する反応混合物を60〜 100℃の範囲、好ましくは80〜90℃の範囲の温度に保持することを特徴と する請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の方法。 8.撹拌タンクのカスケードにおけるスルホン化粗生成物の機械的撹拌を、撹拌 、混合物を加圧導入することによって、またはシケイン様の邪魔板を取り付ける ことによって得ること特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の方法。 9.スルホン化粗生成物をスルホン化度が94〜98%に達するまで撹拌タンク のカスケード中に留めることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の方法 。 10.スルホン化粗生成物を撹拌タンクのカスケード中に10〜60分間、好ま しくは20〜40分間留めることを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の 方法。 11.温度制御した後反応の後に、エージングしたスルホン化生成物を中和し漂 白することを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の方法。 12.エージングしたスルホン化生成物をアルカリ金属水酸化物溶液、好ましく は水酸化ナトリウム水溶液で中和することを特徴とする請求項1〜11のいずれ かに記載の方法。 13.中和の前および/または後に、スルホン化生成物を過酸化水素水および/ または次亜塩素酸で漂白することを特徴とする請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載 の方法。 14.脂肪酸メチルエステルを出発物質として使用することを特徴とする請求項 1〜13のいずれかに記載の方法。 15.天然脂肪および/または油とメタノールとのエステル交換によって得られ る脂肪酸メチルエステル混合物を出発物質として使用することを特徴とする請求 項1〜14のいずれかに記載の方法。
