Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 《産業上の利用分野》 本考案は、車両のルーフパネル内側に張設され
る成形天井に関する。
《従来の技術》 車両用成形天井は、車両室内の美観、乗員の安
全性の向上等の目的で、車両のルーフパネル内側
に張設されるものである。
この成形天井は、第5図に示すように、基材で
あるダンボール1と表皮材2とを樹脂系接着剤と
してのホツトメルト3を介して積層し、ルーフパ
ネル4の内側形状に合わせて加熱加圧成形して、
その周縁部を図示しないガーニツシユやボデーサ
イドウエルト等によつてルーフパネル4側に支持
されて張設される。
そして、従来、接着剤としてのホツトメルト3
は、ダンボール1と表皮材2とを互いに接合させ
ることだけを目的として、これらの間に薄く均一
な厚さに塗布または貼付されている。
《考案が解決しようとする問題点》 ところが、ダンボール1は湿気を吸収すると元
の形状に戻ろうとして外側へ変形するため、第5
図に示すように、ルーフパネル4の端末形状と合
わなくなつてルーフパネル4に取り付けることが
できなくなるおそれがある。
本考案は、湿気を吸収してもルーフパネル確実
に取り付けることができる車両用成形天井を提供
することを目的とする。
《問題点を解決するための手段》 このため本考案の車両用成形天井は、表皮材と
基材としてのダンボールとを樹脂系接着剤を介し
て積層し、車体のルーフパネル内側に沿つた形状
に成形される車両用成形天井であつて、前記接着
剤を天井の中央部よりも周辺部で厚くしたことを
特徴としている。
《作用》 湿気を吸収した基材としてのダンボールがルー
フパネル側である外側へ変形しようとすると、そ
の内側に塗付された樹脂系接着剤の収縮よつて内
側へ引かれ外側への変形が押えられる。特に、基
材のうち絞り率の大きい天井周縁部では、厚く貼
付した接着剤により基材の外側への変形が確実に
押えられる。
これにより、成形天井は、基材が湿気を吸収し
ても、外側へ変形することはなく、確実にルーフ
パネルに取り付けることができる。
《実施例》 本考案の車両用成形天井は、前述した従来例と
略同様な構造を有しており、第1図に示すよう
に、基材としてのダンボール11と表皮材12と
を樹脂系接着剤としてのホツトメルト13を介し
て積層し、ルーフパネル14の内側形状に合わせ
て加熱加圧成形して、その周縁部を図示しないガ
ーニツシユやボデーサイドウエルト等によつてル
ーフパネル14側に支持されて取り付けられる。
ダンボール11は、第3図および第4図に示す
ように、上下二枚のライナー16,17と、これ
ら二枚のライナー16,17の相対向する面にそ
れぞれ配設されたポリエチレンフイルム16aと
17aと、二枚のライナー16,17の間に介装
される波板状の中芯18とから構成されており、
このダンボール11をルーフパネル14の内側形
状に合わせて熱プレス成形し、その表面にフイル
ム状のホツトメルト13を介して表皮材12を積
層してさらに熱プレス成形し、第2図に示すよう
な内側成形天井19を得る。なお、表皮材12と
してはポリエステル製の不織布やトリコツトが用
いられている。
成形天井19の周辺部のうち特に絞り率の大き
い長手方向両端部19a,19b(第2図中の破
線のハツチングで示す部分)には、第1図に示す
ように、フイルム状のホツトメルト13が厚く配
設されている。そして、成形天井19の中央付近
では、絞り率が小さいため湿気吸収による変形が
小さく、ホツトメルト13は薄くなつている。
ホツトメルト13の厚さを具体的な数値を用い
て説明する。ここで用いる成形天井19は、小型
あるいは中型乗用車に用いるもので、ダンボール
11の二枚のライナー16,17は目付量280〜
300g/m2、ポリエチレンフイルム16a,17
aは厚さ25〜50μm、中芯18は目付量220g/
m2で、表皮材12は目付量200〜300g/m2のもの
が用いられている。
ホツトメルト13を厚く配設する成形天井19
の長手方向両側部19a,19bは、それぞれ幅
が150〜200mmで、ホツトメルト13の厚さは75〜
100μmとなつている。そして、長手方向両側部
19a,19bを除く部分でのホツトメルト13
の厚さは30〜50μmとなつてるい。
以上のように構成された成形天井19では、加
熱加圧成形された後湿気を吸収しても、それによ
つてダンボール11が外側へ変形しようとする力
より、収縮性を有するホツトメルト13がダンボ
ール11を内側へ変形させようとする力の方が大
きく、ダンボール11の外側への変形がなくな
る。特に、外側へ変形しようとする力の大きい長
手方向両側部19a,19bには、ホツトメルト
13を厚くしたので、ダンボール11の外側への
変形が確実に押えられる。
これにより、成形天井19は、湿気による影響
を受けずにルーフパネル14に確実に取り付ける
ことができる。
なお、第1図に示すようにダンボール11の内
側への変形は、その取付け構造上問題にならな
い。その理由は、周縁部が内側へ変形したダンボ
ール11の場合、ルーフパネル14に当接した
後、周縁部を外側へ押し広げて、ボデーサイドウ
エルト等によつてルーフパネル14に取り付けら
れるからである。
また、本実施例では、ホツトメルト13をダン
ボール11の長手方向両側の周辺部に厚くした
が、前後方向両側の周辺部も同様に厚くしてもよ
く、また周辺部に限らず、絞り率が大きく外側へ
変形しやすい部分であれば、その部分のホツトメ
ルト13を厚くすることで、前記同様の作用・効
果を得ることができる。
《考案の効果》 本考案の車両用成形天井では、収縮性を有する
樹脂性接着剤の厚さを適宜調整することにより、
基材が湿気を吸収しても外側へ変形することはな
く、ルーフパネルに確実に取り付けることができ
る利点がある。

Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 表皮材と基材としてのダンボールとを樹脂系接
    着剤を介して積層し、車体のルーフパネル内側に
    沿つた形状に成形される車両用成形天井であつ
    て、前記接着剤を天井の中央部よりも周辺部まで
    厚くしたことを特徴とする車両用成形天井。
