Description
本発明者らは、並列接続型の電池を高出力化する場合に、以下の問題が発生することを見出した。
本開示の一形態の概要は、以下の通りである。
[電池の構成]
まず、本実施の形態に係る電池の構成について説明する。
以下では、実施の形態の複数の変形例について説明する。なお、以下の複数の変形例の説明において、実施の形態との相違点又は変形例間での相違点を中心に説明し、共通点の説明を省略又は簡略化する。
まず、実施の形態の変形例1について、図3を用いて説明する。図3は、実施の形態の変形例1に係る電池200の概略構成を示す図である。図3の(a)は、電池200の上面図である。図3の(a)では、電池200を上方から見た場合における電池の各構成要素の平面視形状を実線又は破線で表している。図3の(b)は、図3の(a)のIII-III線で示される位置での電池200の断面を示す断面図である。
次に、実施の形態の変形例2について、図5を用いて説明する。図5は、実施の形態の変形例2に係る電池300の概略構成を示す図である。図5の(a)は、電池300の上面図である。図5の(a)では、電池300を上方から見た場合における電池の各構成要素の平面視形状を実線又は破線で表している。図5の(b)は、図5の(a)のV-V線で示される位置での電池300の断面を示す断面図である。
次に、実施の形態の変形例3について、図6を用いて説明する。図6は、実施の形態の変形例3に係る電池400の概略構成を示す図である。図6の(a)は、電池400の上面図である。図6の(a)では、電池400を上方から見た場合における電池の各構成要素の平面視形状を実線又は破線で表している。図6の(b)は、図6の(a)のVI-VI線で示される位置での電池400の断面を示す断面図である。
次に、実施の形態の変形例4について、図7を用いて説明する。図7は、実施の形態の変形例4に係る電池500の概略構成を示す図である。図7の(a)は、電池500の上面図である。図7の(a)では、電池500を上方から見た場合における電池の各構成要素の平面視形状を実線又は破線で表している。図7の(b)は、図7の(a)のVII-VII線で示される位置での電池500の断面を示す断面図である。
次に、実施の形態の変形例5について、図8を用いて説明する。図8は、実施の形態の変形例5に係る電池600の概略構成を示す図である。図8の(a)は、電池600の上面図である。図8の(a)では、電池600を上方から見た場合における電池の各構成要素の平面視形状を実線又は破線で表している。図8の(b)は、図8の(a)のVIII-VIII線で示される位置での電池600の断面を示す断面図である。
次に、実施の形態の変形例6について、図9を用いて説明する。図9は、実施の形態の変形例6に係る電池700の概略構成を示す図である。図9の(a)は、電池700の上面図である。図9の(a)では、電池700を上方から見た場合における電池の各構成要素の平面視形状を実線又は破線で表している。図9の(b)は、図9の(a)のIX-IX線で示される位置での電池700の断面を示す断面図である。
次に、実施の形態の変形例7について、図10を用いて説明する。図10は、実施の形態の変形例7に係る電池800の概略構成を示す図である。図10の(a)は、電池800の上面図である。図10の(a)では、電池800を上方から見た場合における電池の各構成要素の平面視形状を実線又は破線で表している。図10の(b)は、図10の(a)のX-X線で示される位置での電池800の断面を示す断面図である。
続いて、実施の形態及び各変形例に係る電池の製造方法の一例を説明する。以下では、上述した実施の形態の変形例1に係る電池200の製造方法を説明する。他の電池101、201、300、400、500、600、700及び800についても同様である。
以上、本開示に係る電池について、実施の形態及び各変形例に基づいて説明したが、本開示は、これらの実施の形態に限定されるものではない。本開示の主旨を逸脱しない限り、当業者が思いつく各種変形を実施の形態及び各変形例に施したものや、実施の形態及び各変形例における一部の構成要素を組み合わせて構築される別の形態も、本開示の範囲に含まれる。

- 複数の固体電池セルと、
前記複数の固体電池セルの間に位置する接続層と、
を備え、
前記複数の固体電池セルは、それぞれ、正極集電体と、正極活物質層と、固体電解質を含む固体電解質層と、負極活物質層と、負極集電体とが、この順で積層された構造を有し、
前記複数の固体電池セルは、電気的に並列に接続されており、
前記複数の固体電池セルのうち隣り合う2つの固体電池セルの前記正極集電体同士又は前記負極集電体同士は、前記接続層を介して積層され、
前記接続層は、固体電解質を含む、
電池。 - 前記接続層のヤング率は、前記正極集電体及び前記負極集電体のヤング率よりも低い、
請求項1に記載の電池。 - 前記接続層は、樹脂を含む、
請求項1又は2に記載の電池。 - 前記接続層は、導電性材料を含む、
請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の電池。 - 前記接続層は、固体電解質及び導電性材料から構成される、

前記接続層の端部の少なくとも一部は、屈曲した状態で前記端子電極と接している、
請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の電池。 - 前記複数の固体電池セルの側面に接し、前記複数の固体電池セルそれぞれの前記負極集電体又は前記正極集電体と接続される端子電極をさらに備え、
前記接続層の端部の少なくとも一部は、屈曲した状態で前記端子電極に埋没している、

前記封止部材は、平面視で前記正極活物質層及び前記負極活物質層の外側に位置する、
