Description
最初に本開示の実施態様を列挙して説明する。
以下に、本開示の実施形態について説明する。本開示はこれらの例示に限定されるものではなく、特許請求の範囲によって示され、特許請求の範囲と均等の意味および範囲内での全ての変更が含まれることが意図される。
本開示の実施形態1について、図1から図12を参照しつつ説明する。図1に示されるように、本実施形態における雌端子1は、タブ81を有する雄端子80(タブ部のみ図示)と接続される。雌端子1は、端子本体10と、端子本体10とは別体に形成されて、端子本体10に取り付けられるばね部材70と、を備えるものである。以下の説明においては、矢線Zで示される方向を上方とし、矢線Yで示される方向を前方とし、矢線Xで示される方向を左方として説明する。また、複数の同一部材については、一部の部材にのみ符号を付し、他の部材については符号を省略する場合がある。
雌端子1の製造は、例えば以下のようにして行われる。尚、雌端子1の製造工程は以下の記載に限定されない。
続いて本実施形態1の作用効果について説明する。本実施形態1に係る雌端子1は、底壁22を有する端子本体10と、端子本体10に取り付けられたばね部材70と、を有する雌端子1であって、端子本体10は、底壁22に連なるとともに雄端子80のタブ81が挿入される接続筒部20と、接続筒部20内に挿入されたタブ81に対して弾性的に接触する弾性接触片50と、底壁22を貫通する貫通孔31と、を有し、ばね部材70は弾性接触片50よりも大きな弾性率を有する金属で構成されており、ばね部材70の付勢部71は弾性接触片50と当接して弾性接触片50をタブ81に接近させる方向に付勢するようになっており、ばね部材70の後端部76はばね部材70が端子本体10に取り付けられた状態で貫通孔31の孔縁部の内側の領域に位置するようになっている。
(1)ばね部材70と、端子本体10との固定方法は、かしめ付けに限られず、ばね部材70と端子本体10とは溶接されていてもよく、また、リベット止めされていてもよい。

Claims (8)
- 底壁を有する端子本体と、前記端子本体に取り付けられたばね部材と、を有する雌端子であって、
前記端子本体は、前記底壁に連なるとともに雄端子のタブが挿入される接続筒部と、前記接続筒部内に挿入された前記タブに対して弾性的に接触する弾性接触片と、前記底壁を貫通する貫通孔と、を有し、
前記ばね部材は前記弾性接触片よりも大きな弾性率を有する金属で構成されており、前記ばね部材の一方の端部は前記弾性接触片と当接して前記弾性接触片を前記タブに接近させる方向に付勢するようになっており、前記ばね部材の他方の縁は、前記ばね部材が前記端子本体に取り付けられた状態で前記貫通孔の孔縁部の内側の領域に位置するようになっている雌端子。 - 前記ばね部材は前記端子本体に形成されたかしめ部によって前記端子本体にかしめ付けられている請求項1に記載の雌端子。
- 前記端子本体は、電線に圧着する電線圧着部と、前記接続筒部と前記電線圧着部との間に設けられて前記接続筒部と前記電線圧着部とを連結する連結部と、を有し、
前記貫通孔は前記連結部の前記底壁に設けられている請求項1または請求項2に記載の雌端子。 - 前記ばね部材の他方の端部にはせん断面が形成されている請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の雌端子。
- 前記底壁には、前記弾性接触片に向かって突出するとともに、前記弾性接触片に対して過度に力が加えられた場合に前記弾性接触片と当接することにより前記弾性接触片の過度撓みを抑制する過度撓み抑制片が設けられており、
前記過度撓み抑制片は、前記ばね部材の前記一方の端部と離れている請求項1から請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の雌端子。 - 前記接続筒部は前記底壁の側縁から延びる側壁を有し、前記側壁は前記側壁を貫通する窓部を有し、
前記窓部からは、前記弾性接触片と前記ばね部材の前記一方の端部とが当接する部分が露出している請求項1から請求項5のいずれか一項に記載の雌端子。 - 底壁を有する端子本体と、前記端子本体に取り付けられるばね部材と、を有する雌端子の製造方法であって、
第1金属板材をプレス加工することにより、前記底壁に貫通孔を有する端子本体素片を形成する工程と、
前記第1金属板材よりも弾性率が大きな第2金属板材をプレス加工することによりばね素片を形成する工程と、
前記ばね素片を前記底壁に載置する工程と、
前記ばね部材が、前記端子本体に取り付けられた状態で、前記ばね部材の後端部が、前記貫通孔の孔縁部の内側の領域に位置するとともに、前記貫通孔にプレス加工用の金型を挿通させて前記ばね素片をプレス加工することにより、前記ばね部材を形成する工程と、を備えた雌端子の製造方法。 - 前記底壁に載置された前記ばね素片又は前記ばね部材を前記底壁にかしめ付ける工程を備えた請求項7に記載の雌端子の製造方法。
