Claims (3)
- 正極集電体上に正極活物質層が形成されたシート状の正極と、負極集電体上に負極活物質層が形成されたシート状の負極とが、セパレータを介在させつつ積層された電極体と、前記電極体を収容する電池ケースと、を備える電池であって、
前記電極体の積層数が90以上であり、
前記電極体の前記積層された方向と直交する方向における一方の端部には、前記正極活物質層が形成されていない正極集電体露出部分が前記負極からはみ出た状態で積層された正極集電体積層部が存在し、かつ、他方の端部には、前記負極活物質層が形成されていない負極集電体露出部分が前記正極からはみ出た状態で積層された負極集電体積層部が存在し、
ここで、前記正極集電体積層部および前記負極集電体積層部は、それぞれ、前記電極体の前記積層された方向において、同一線上に重ならないように位置をずらしながら複数のグループに分割されており、
前記複数に分割されたグループのそれぞれは、相互に独立して一纏まりになっていると共に、いずれのグループについてもそれらの先端部が折り曲げられて、一の集電端子の前記電極体に対向する一つの面にレーザ溶接または超音波溶接されていることを特徴とする、電池。 - 前記正極集電体積層部のグループを構成する正極集電体の枚数が、15枚以上30枚以下であり、前記負極集電体積層部のグループを構成する負極集電体の枚数が、15枚以上30枚以下である、請求項1に記載の電池。
- 前記電極体が、捲回電極体である、請求項1または2に記載の電池。
