式中A、R’、およびRは上述した通りであることができ、aは1~6、そしてbは0~5である。この反応は無溶媒で、成分(A)、(B)、(C)、またはこれらの混合物が液体である温度において行うことができる。さらにまた、非プロトン性有機溶媒(エチルアセテート、アセトン、アセトニトリル、ケトン、ハロアルカン、ジグリム、ジオキサン、エーテル-ジエチルエーテル、メチルブチルエーテル、テトラヒドロフラン、アルカン、ジメチルスルホキシド(DMSO)、ジメチルホルムアミド(DMF)、トルエン、ベンゼン、キシレンおよびこれらの同族体または混合物)を使用して、成分(A)および/または(B)および/または任意選択的に(C)を混合するに先立って、これらを溶解または溶融することができる。反応に好ましい温度範囲は20~140℃、より好ましくは40~120℃、最も好ましくは60~100℃である。一般的に、水分を排除するために、反応は不活性雰囲気下(窒素、アルゴン、またはその他)で行うことが好ましい。反応完了後、溶媒は部分的にまたは完全に除去して、最終化合物、それらの混合物またはその濃縮溶液を与えることができる。一般式(I)の3級アミン生成物を、水、グリコール(エチレングリコール、ジエチレングリコール、トリエチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、ジプロピレングリコール、トリプロピレングリコール、2-メチル-1,3-プロパンジオールまたはその他)、グリコールのモノ-およびジ-アルキルエーテル、ポリエーテルポリオール、可塑剤、ワックス、およびヒマシ油、大豆油およびその他のような天然油およびこれらの混合物のような希釈剤中に含有する触媒混合物は、ポリウレタンの製造のための触媒の添加を容易にする準備を行うために推奨される。
この反応は、3級アミンを有する少なくとも1つの2環式基を含有する一般式(I)および/または(Ia)の化合物を提供するために行われる。
(a)ポリヒドロキシアルカンと1つまたはより多くのアルキレンオキシド、例えばエチレンオキシド、プロピレンオキシド、その他との反応から導かれるポリエーテルポリオール;
(b)多官能アルコール、糖アルコール、糖類、および/または多官能アミンの、所望ならば低官能アルコールおよび/またはアミンとの混合物においての、アルキレンオキシド、例えばエチレンオキシド、プロピレンオキシド、その他との反応から導かれるポリエーテルポリオール;
(c)リン酸およびポリリン酸とアルキレンオキシド、例えばエチレンオキシド、プロピレンオキシド、その他との反応から導かれるポリエーテルポリオール;
(d)ポリ芳香族アルコールとアルキレンオキシド、例えばエチレンオキシド、プロピレンオキシド、その他との反応から導かれるポリエーテルポリオール;
(e)テトラヒドロフランの開環重合反応から導かれるポリエーテルポリオール;
(f)アンモニアおよび/またはアミンとアルキレンオキシド、例えばエチレンオキシド、プロピレンオキシド、その他との反応から導かれるポリエーテルポリオール;
(g)多官能性開始剤、例えばジオールと、ヒドロキシカルボン酸またはそのラクトン、例えばヒドロキシルカプロン酸またはε-カプロラクトンとの反応から導かれるポリエステルポリオール;
(h)シュウ酸エステルおよびジアミン、例えばヒドラジン、エチレンジアミン、その他との、直接ポリエーテルポリオール中での反応から導かれるポリオキサメートポリオール;
(i)ジイソシアネートおよびジアミン、例えばヒドラジン、エチレンジアミン、その他との、直接ポリエーテルポリオール中での反応から導かれるポリウレアポリオール。
マグネティックスターラーおよび温度計を装着した3口丸底フラスコに、窒素雰囲気下でIPDI(5.913g、26.59mmol)を仕込んだ。3.785mgの固体のRZETA登録商標(26.62mmol)を、窒素雰囲気下で室温においてトルエン(8mL)中に溶解した。RZETA登録商標溶液をIPDI溶液に対して、室温において窒素雰囲気下で、強く混合しながらシリンジを介してゆっくりと添加した。反応混合物の温度は40℃未満に保持した。反応混合物は室温で一晩攪拌した。2-[2-(ジメチルアミノ)エトキシ]エタノール(3.577g、26.85mmol)をこの混合物に添加し、その混合物を70℃においてさらに2時間にわたって攪拌した。他の溶媒としてアセトンを用いながら混合物を1口丸底フラスコに移し、そしてその後、減圧下にすべての溶媒を除去してシロップ状の生成物を得た。
フォームの種々の性質を評価した。これらの性質は表1の下部に示されている。
Claims (25)
- 式(I)の化合物によって表される3級アミン化合物であって:
(R’-OC(O)NH-)aA(-NHC(O)OR)b (I)
式中aは1~6およびbは0~5であり、a+bは少なくとも2であり;

ここで、式中x、y、z、およびuは独立して、結合、およびC1~C35の炭化水素から選択され、ここでC1~C35の炭化水素は脂肪族、環式、飽和、不飽和、および芳香族基、ハロゲン基、エーテル基、カーボネート、アミド、3級アミン、またはこれらの2つまたはより多くの組み合わせを含んでいてよく;
Aは任意選択的にハロゲン、エーテル基、3級アミン、ニトロ残渣またはこれらの組み合わせを含むC2~C35の炭化水素から選択され、ここでC2~C35の炭化水素ユニットは脂肪族、環式、飽和、不飽和、および芳香族残渣を任意に含んでいてよく;そして

- u、x、y、およびzは各々-CH2-である、請求項8または9の化合物。
- 請求項1から11のいずれかの3級アミン化合物を1つまたはより多く含み、任意選択的に希釈剤を含む、カルバメートまたはポリウレタンを製造するための触媒組成物。
- 触媒の存在下にイソシアネート化合物とアルコールを反応させることを含み、ここで触媒が請求項1から11のいずれかの化合物から選択される、カルバメートまたはポリウレタンを製造するためのプロセス。
- プロセスはカルバメート製造のためのものである、請求項13のプロセス。
- イソシアネートはポリイソシアネートでありアルコールはポリオールであり、そしてプロセスはポリウレタンを製造するためのものである、請求項13のプロセス。
- ポリウレタンは多孔性ポリウレタンまたは非多孔性ポリウレタンであり、プロセスは任意選択的に発泡剤を含む、請求項15のプロセス。
- ポリウレタンはポリウレタンフォームであり、そしてプロセスは任意選択的に界面活性剤、難燃剤、鎖延長剤、架橋剤、接着促進剤、帯電防止剤、耐加水分解安定剤、UV安定
剤、潤滑剤、抗微生物剤、またはこれらの2つまたはより多くの組み合わせを含む、請求項15または16のプロセス。 - アミン触媒は組成物の重量に基づいて0.005重量%から5重量%の量で存在する、請求項13から17のいずれかのプロセス。
- 請求項15から18のいずれかのプロセスによって形成されるポリウレタン。

- イソシアネート(A)は、オクタデシルイソシアネート;オクチルイソシアネート;ブチルおよびt-ブチルイソシアネート;シクロヘキシルイソシアネート;アダマンチルイソシアネート;エチルイソシアネートアセテート;エトキシカルボニルイソシアネート;フェニルイソシアネート;アルファメチルベンジルイソシアネート;2-フェニルシクロプロピルイソシアネート;ベンジルイソシアネート;2-エチルフェニルイソシアネート;メタおよびパラ-トリルイソシアネート;2-、3-、または4-ニトロフェニルイソシアネート;2-エトキシフェニルイソシアネート;3-メトキシフェニルイソシアネート;4-メトキシフェニルイソシアネート;エチル4-イソシアネートベンゾエート;2,6-ジメチルフェニルイソシアネート;1-ナフチルイソシアネート;(ナフチル)エチルイソシアネート;イソホロンジイソシアネート(IPDI);トルエンジイソシアネート(TDI);ジフェニルメタン-4,4’-ジイソシアネート(MDI);水素化ジフェニルメタン-4,4’-ジイソシアネート(H.12 MDI);テトラ-メチルキシレンジイソシアネート(TMXDI);ヘキサメチレン-1,6-ジイソシアネート(HDI);ナフチレン-1,5-ジイソシアネート;3,3’-ジメトキシ-4,4’-ビフェニルジイソシアネート;3,3’-ジメチル-4,4’-ジメチル-4,4’-ビフェニルジイソシアネート;フェニレンジイソシアネート;4,4’-ビフェニルジイソシアネート;トリメチルヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート;テトラメチレンキシレンジイソシアネート;4,4’-メチレン-ビス(2,6-ジエチルフェニルイソシアネート);1,12-ジイソシアネートドデカン;1,5-ジイソシアネート-2-メチルペンタン;1,4-ジイソシアネートブタン;およびシクロヘキシレンジイソシアネートおよびその異性体;HDIのウレトジオンダイマー;TDIのトリメチロールプロパントリマー;TDI、HDI、IPDIのイソシアヌレートトリマー;およびTDI、HDI、IPDIのビュウレットトリマーから選択される、請求項20または21の方法。
- 方法は連続式プロセスまたはバッチ式プロセスとして行われる、請求項20から22のいずれかの方法。
- 反応は溶媒の存在下に行われる、請求項20から23のいずれかの方法。
- 反応は20~140℃の温度において行われる、請求項20から24のいずれかの方法。
