Description
-X-L-Si(R1)n(OR2)(3-n)
(式中、Lは炭化水素リンカー基であり、Xは硫黄原子以外のヘテロ原子であり、nは0、1、または2であり、R1は炭素数1~20のアルキル基であり、R2は炭素数1~20のアルキル基または炭素数2~20のアルキルアルコキシ基である)
のペンダント硬化性アルコキシシリル官能基を含むタイコート組成物を使用すると、タイコート中のバインダーポリマーの硬化性アルコキシシリル官能基の一部がメチルジイル基であるリンカー基Lを有し、かつアルコキシシリル官能基の一部が、炭素数2~20の炭化水素基であるリンカー基Lを有する場合には、縮合性シラン基を有する樹脂をベースとするトップコートの、このようなタイコート組成物から堆積されたタイコートに対する非常に良好な接着性がもたらされることが見出された。

Lは、炭素数1~20の炭化水素リンカー基であり、
Xは、硫黄原子以外のヘテロ原子、好ましくは酸素または窒素原子であり、
nは、0、1、または2であり、好ましくは、nは0または1であり、
R1は、炭素数1~20のアルキル基であり、
R2は、炭素数1~20のアルキル基または炭素数2~20のアルキルアルコキシ基、好ましくは炭素数1~20のアルキル基である)
のペンダント硬化性アルコキシシリル官能基を含み、1つまたは複数のバインダーポリマーに含まれる硬化性アルコキシシリル官能基の少なくとも5モル%では、炭化水素リンカー基Lはメチルジイル基(L1)であり、1つまたは複数のバインダーポリマーに含まれる硬化性アルコキシシリル官能基の少なくとも5モル%では、炭化水素リンカー基Lは、炭素数2~20の炭化水素基(L2)であり、タイコート組成物は架橋剤を含まない。
-本発明の第1の態様による、タイコート組成物の第1の層を人工物の表面に塗布することと、
-タイコート組成物の第1の層に、縮合性シラン基を有する樹脂を含むトップコート組成物の第2の層を塗布することと、
-第1および第2のコーティング層を硬化させることを含む、方法を提供する。
-X-L-Si(R1)n(OR2)(3-n) (I)
のペンダント硬化性アルコキシシリル官能基を含む。
第1のバインダーポリマー - L1リンカー
メチルメタクリレート、ラウリルメタクリレート、およびトリメトキシシリルメチルメタクリレートの混合物を、連鎖移動剤としてのメルカプトプロピルトリメトキシシランおよび開始剤としての2,2’アゾビス(2-メチルブチロニトリル(AMBN)の存在下で、溶媒としてメチルn-アミルケトン(MAK)中100℃で共重合することによって、シロキサン官能性ポリアクリレートを調製した。メチルメタクリレート/ラウリルメタクリレート/トリメトキシシリルメチルメタクリレート/メルカプトプロピルトリメトキシシランのモル比は70/12/15/3であった。MAK中の70重量%ポリマー(数平均分子量3,400ダルトン)の溶液を得た。
シロキサン官能性ポリアクリレートを、アクリルタイコート組成物1について上に記載したように調製したが、トリメトキシシリルメチルメタクリレートの代わりにトリメトキシシリルプロピルメタクリレートを用いた。MAK中の70重量%ポリマー(数平均分子量3,200ダルトン)の溶液を得た。
タイコート組成物1(比較)
上に記載したように調製したMAK中の第2のバインダーポリマーの70重量%溶液の溶液を、タイコート組成物1として使用した。
第1および第2のバインダーポリマーの溶液を、得られた混合物が、バインダーポリマーの総重量に基づいて、40重量%の第1のバインダーポリマーおよび60重量%の第2のバインダーポリマーを含むように、40/60重量で混合した。
上に記載したように調製したMAK中の第1のバインダーポリマーの70重量%溶液の溶液を、タイコート組成物3として使用した。
以下の表1に記載の成分を高速分散させることにより、3つのトップコート組成物を調製した。
6×4インチのアルミニウムQパネルを、サンドペーパーを使用して表面を粗くした後、溶媒で脱脂した。次いで、パネルの両面をタイコート組成物1またはタイコート組成物2でブラシコーティングし、23℃および50%相対湿度で3時間乾燥させた。上に記載したように調製したトップコート組成物を、ブラシによって塗布し、23℃および50%相対湿度で24時間乾燥させた。
接着性試験1について上に記載したように調製し乾燥したテストパネルを、22℃で天然海水(導電率42.6mS/cm)に浸漬した。1日、4日、および14日後に、タイコートとトップコートの間の接着性を、上に記載した方法で定性的に評価した。樹脂Aは、α,ω-ジヒドロキシポリジメチルシロキサンと過剰の(N、N-ジブチルアミノメチル)トリエトキシシランの反応生成物である。このような樹脂の調製は、中国特許第101134887号明細書に記載されている。
接着性試験1について上に記載したように、試験パネルを調製し、周囲の屋外条件に24時間曝露した。次いで、試験パネルを淡水のモデルとして22℃で蒸留水(導電率1μS/cm)に浸漬した。1日、4日、および14日後に、タイコートとトップコートの間の接着性を、上に記載した方法で定性的に評価した。
Claims (16)
- エチレン性不飽和モノマーの混合物を共重合することによって得られる1つまたは複数のバインダーポリマーを含む、タイコート組成物であって、前記1つまたは複数のバインダーポリマーは、一般式(I)
-X-L-Si(R1)n(OR2)(3-n) (I)
(式中、
Lは、炭素数1~20の炭化水素リンカー基であり、
Xは、硫黄原子以外のヘテロ原子であり、
nは、0、1、または2であり、
R1は、炭素数1~20のアルキル基であり、
R2は、炭素数1~20のアルキル基または炭素数2~20のアルコキシアルキル基である)
のペンダント硬化性アルコキシシリル官能基を含み、
前記1つまたは複数のバインダーポリマーに含まれる前記硬化性アルコキシシリル官能基の少なくとも5モル%では、炭化水素リンカー基Lは、メチルジイル基(L1)であり、前記1つまたは複数のバインダーポリマーに含まれる前記硬化性アルコキシシリル官能基の少なくとも5モル%では、炭化水素リンカー基Lは、炭素数2~20の炭化水素基(L2)であり、
前記タイコート組成物は架橋剤を含まず、
前記タイコート組成物は、縮合性シラン基を有する樹脂を含む汚損剥離コーティング組成物と組み合わせて使用するのに適している、タイコート組成物。 - リンカー基L1を有する硬化性アルコキシシリル官能基とリンカー基L2を有する硬化性アルコキシシリル官能基との間のモル比が、15:85から75:25の範囲である、請求項1に記載のタイコート組成物。
- リンカー基L2が、炭素数2~6のアルキルジイル基である、請求項1または2に記載のタイコート組成物。
- R1およびR2が独立に、炭素数1~6のアルキル基である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載のタイコート組成物。
- 請求項1~4のいずれか一項で特定される第1および第2のバインダーポリマーを含み、
前記第1のバインダーポリマーに含まれる前記硬化性アルコキシシリル官能基がリンカー基L1を有し、前記第2のバインダーポリマーに含まれる前記硬化性アルコキシシリル官能基がリンカー基L2を有する、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のタイコート組成物。 - 前記エチレン性不飽和モノマーが、アクリル酸および/またはメタクリル酸のエステルである、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のタイコート組成物。
- 前記1つまたは複数のバインダーポリマーが、独立して、アルコキシシリル官能基を有するエチレン性不飽和モノマーとアルコキシシリル官能基を有さないエチレン性不飽和モノマーとの混合物を共重合することによって得ることができる、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のタイコート組成物。
- アルコキシシリル官能基を有するエチレン性不飽和モノマーとアルコキシシリル官能基を有さないエチレン性不飽和モノマーとのモル比が、5:95から25:75の範囲である、請求項7に記載のタイコート組成物。
- 前記一般式(I)におけるXが、酸素原子または窒素原子である、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載のタイコート組成物。
- 人工物の表面上の水生生物汚損を防除する方法であって、
-請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載のタイコート組成物の第1の層を前記人工物の表面に塗布することと、
-前記タイコート組成物の第1の層に、縮合性シラン基を有する樹脂を含むトップコート組成物の第2の層を塗布することと、
-第1および第2のコーティング層を硬化させることを含む、方法。 - 前記縮合性シラン基を有する樹脂が、硬化性ポリジオルガノシロキサン樹脂である、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記トップコート組成物が不揮発性、不硬化性流体をさらに含む、請求項10または11に記載の方法。
- 前記不揮発性、不硬化性流体が、ポリ(オキシアルキレン)変性ポリシロキサンである、請求項12に記載の方法。

- 前記タイコート層を老化または損傷したコーティング上に堆積させる、請求項15に記載の基材。
