- 複数の画素電極を有するアレイ基板と、
前記複数の画素電極に少なくとも重なる位置に共通電極を有する対向基板と、
前記アレイ基板と前記対向基板との間の液晶層と、
前記アレイ基板と前記対向基板との間を前記対向基板の一方の側面から他方の側面に向かって光が伝播させるために、光を発光する光源と、を備え、
前記アレイ基板と、前記対向基板との間には、導電性を有する基板間導電体があり、
前記アレイ基板は、
表示領域において、
第1方向に間隔をおいて並ぶ複数の信号線と、
第2方向に間隔をおいて並ぶ複数の走査線と、
表示領域外に設けられたコモン電位配線と、
を有し、
前記対向基板は、
前記共通電極に電気的に接続するように積層され、前記信号線又は前記走査線に重なる導電性の遮光層と、
導電性の第1給電部と、
前記共通電極と前記第1給電部と、を電気的に接続する遮光性の接続配線とを有し、
前記第1給電部は、平面視で前記基板間導電体と重なる位置に配置され、前記基板間導電体と電気的に接続される、

前記接続配線は、前記遮光層と同じ材料で形成されており、

- 前記コモン電位配線は、網目の形状であり、
前記アレイ基板は、前記第1給電部の環状体の開口と重なる位置には、前記コモン電位配線の前記網目を埋める金属層を有する第2給電部を備える、請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。 - 前記金属層は、透光性導電材料で覆われている、請求項5に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第2給電部と、前記第1給電部との間には、前記基板間導電体がある、請求項5又は6に記載の表示装置。
- 前記液晶層は、高分子分散型液晶であり、
前記表示領域の外側にある周辺領域において、前記アレイ基板から前記対向基板の背景が視認され、前記対向基板から前記アレイ基板の背景が視認される、請求項1から7いずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
