Claims (7)
- 膜-電極接合体と、
膜-電極接合体の一面に設けられたガス拡散層と、
少なくとも一部の領域でガス拡散層に接触するように設けられた分離板(流路端部を閉塞した櫛歯状の分岐流路を交互に有するものを除く。)と、
を含み、
前記分離板は、
反応ガスが流動するための流動空間を形成する底面及び前記底面と連結された一対の側壁を含む複数のチャネルと、
隣接する2つのチャネルの側壁を連結し、前記ガス拡散層と接触するように設けられた複数のリブと、
を含み、
チャネルの側壁には、内側に陥没し、第1角度で連結された第1傾斜面と第2傾斜面を有し、水が貯蔵されるための貯水部が設けられ、
(i)前記第1角度の大きさ、並びに、(ii)前記貯水部が設けられたチャネルの側壁に対する、前記第1傾斜面の傾斜角及び第2傾斜面の傾斜角の大きさは、前記第1傾斜面及び第2傾斜面の少なくとも一方の接触角に基づいて、前記貯水部の内部に貯蔵された水が、前記第1傾斜面及び前記第2傾斜面に沿って、前記ガス拡散層及び前記膜-電極接合体側に移動するように設定され、
前記貯水部に滞留している前記水は、前記第1傾斜面及び前記第2傾斜面を介して前記ガス拡散層と触れ合う水柱形態を維持し、
前記反応ガスは、前記チャネルが開放された面である前記分離板の第1面を介して流動し、
冷却水は、前記第1面の反対方向の第2面を介して流動し、
前記反応ガスの前記流動と、前記冷却水の前記流動とは、反対方向に形成される、
燃料電池スタック。 - 膜-電極接合体と、
膜-電極接合体の一面に設けられたガス拡散層と、
少なくとも一部の領域でガス拡散層に接触するように設けられた分離板(流路端部を閉塞した櫛歯状の分岐流路を交互に有するものを除く。)と、
を含み
前記分離板は、
反応ガスが流動するための流動空間を形成する底面及び前記底面と連結された一対の側壁を含む複数のチャネルと、
隣接する2つのチャネルの側壁を連結し、前記ガス拡散層と接触するように設けられた複数のリブと、
を含み、
チャネルの側壁には、内側に陥没し、第1角度で連結された第1傾斜面と第2傾斜面を有し、水が貯蔵されるための貯水部が設けられ、
前記貯水部が設けられたチャネルの側壁に対する、前記貯水部の第1傾斜面の傾斜角及び第2傾斜面の傾斜角の大きさは互いに異なり、
前記第1傾斜面は、前記第2傾斜面よりも、前記反応ガスの流動方向の上流側に配され、
前記貯水部の前記第1傾斜面の辺のうち、前記貯水部が設けられたチャネルの前記側壁と接する辺は、前記貯水部の前記第1傾斜面の辺のうち、前記第2傾斜面と接する辺よりも、前記反応ガスの流動方向の下流側に配され、
前記貯水部に滞留している前記水は、前記第1傾斜面及び前記第2傾斜面を介して前記ガス拡散層と触れ合う水柱形態を維持し、
前記反応ガスは、前記チャネルが開放された面である前記分離板の第1面を介して流動し、
冷却水は、前記第1面の反対方向の第2面を介して流動し、
前記反応ガスの前記流動と、前記冷却水の前記流動とは、反対方向に形成される、
燃料電池スタック。 - 貯水部はくさび(Wedge)形状を有する
請求項1又は請求項2に記載の燃料電池スタック。 - 第1傾斜面と第2傾斜面は「V」字形状を有する
請求項1から請求項3までの何れか一項に記載の燃料電池スタック。 - 第1傾斜面と第2傾斜面は平坦面からなる
請求項4に記載の燃料電池スタック。 - 第1角度は鋭角である
請求項1から請求項5までの何れか一項に記載の燃料電池スタック。 - 第1角度の半分といずれか一方の傾斜面の接触角との和は90゜以下である
請求項6に記載の燃料電池スタック。
