Description
Claims (16)
- 管腔内超音波装置と、前記管腔内超音波装置と通信する処理システムと、を備えるシステムであって、
前記管腔内超音波装置は、遠端部及び長軸を持ち、患者の身体管腔内に配置される可撓性長尺部材と、
前記可撓性長尺部材の前記遠端部に配置されると共に該可撓性長尺部材の前記長軸の周りで周方向に沿って配置されるトランスジューサアレイであって、複数の微細加工超音波トランスジューサ(MUT)を有するトランスジューサアレイと、を有し、
前記トランスジューサアレイは、第1電気信号に応答して前記身体管腔の超音波撮像データを取得し、
前記トランスジューサアレイが、第2電気信号に応答して前記身体管腔内で超音波治療を付与し、
前記複数のMUTは、
a)各々が前記第1電気信号で動作する第1複数の圧電微細加工トランスジューサ(PMUT)及び各々が前記第2電気信号で動作する第2複数のPMUTを有し、
前記第1複数のPMUTの各々は第1厚さのトランスジューサ膜を含み、
前記第2複数のPMUTの各々が、前記第1厚さとは異なる第2厚さのトランスジューサ膜を含むか、又は、
b)各々が前記第1電気信号で動作する第1複数の静電容量型微細加工トランスジューサ(CMUT)及び各々が前記第2電気信号で動作する第2複数のCMUTを有し、
前記第1複数のCMUTの各々は、第1バイアス電圧の下で動作し、
前記第2複数のCMUTの各々が、前記第1バイアス電圧とは異なる第2バイアス電圧の下で動作し、
前記処理システムは、前記管腔内超音波装置による超音波撮像データの取得及び超音波治療の付与を制御すると共に、前記目標部位を有する前記身体管腔の画像を生成し、
前記身体管腔の直径及び前記目標部位の石灰化のレベルを前記取得された超音波撮像データに基づいて決定し、
前記第2電気信号を、前記決定された前記身体管腔の直径及び前記目標部位の石灰化のレベルに基づいて修正する、
システム。 - 前記トランスジューサアレイは前記第1電気信号に応答して第1周波数範囲で動作し、該トランスジューサアレイが前記第2電気信号に応答して前記第1周波数範囲とは異なる第2周波数範囲で動作する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数のMUTが、複数のフレキシブル回路により相互接続された複数のMUTの副アレイを有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記トランスジューサアレイと通信する制御回路を更に有し、該制御回路が前記第1電気信号及び前記第2電気信号を生成する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1電気信号の電圧が前記第2電気信号の電圧とは異なる、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数のCMUTがバイアス電圧の下で動作する、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1及び第2バイアス電圧の一方が零ボルトである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数のMUTが複数の静電容量型微細加工超音波トランスジューサ(CMUT)及び複数の圧電微細加工超音波トランスジューサ(PMUT)を有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1周波数範囲及び前記第2周波数範囲が重ならない、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1周波数範囲が10MHzと70MHzとの間の周波数を有し、前記第2周波数範囲が1KHzと20MHZとの間の周波数を有する、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記処理システムが、超音波撮像と超音波治療の付与とを交互に行うように前記管腔内超音波装置を制御する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記処理システムが、超音波撮像と超音波治療の付与とを同時に行うように前記管腔内超音波装置を制御する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記処理システムが、前記管腔内超音波装置の管腔を介して前記目標部位に薬剤を投与する、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記薬剤が、前記超音波治療の付与と同時に投与される、請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 前記薬剤の投与量が前記超音波治療の間において変化し得る、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記投与量が、前記目標部位の前記超音波撮像データに基づくものである、請求項15に記載のシステム。
