前記傾斜面の前記ガスケットの軸線に直交する方向の長さは、前記環状の突起の円弧状部分の前記ガスケットの軸線に直交する方向の長さよりも大きくなされていることを特徴とするものである。

Claims (5)
- 互いに連通する流体通路をそれぞれ有している第1の部材および第2の部材の突き合わせ部に設けられ、第1および第2の部材の一部を構成とするシール構造であって、前記両部材間に介在させられる環状のガスケットを備え、前記ガスケットは、ガスケットの軸線に直交する2つの側面を有している断面が長方形のものとされているものにおいて、
少なくとも一方の継手部材のガスケット対向面は、環状の突起と、前記環状の突起から内径側にガスケットから離れる方向に傾斜して設けられた縦断面が直線状の傾斜面と、前記突起の外径側に設けられた外径側の面とを備えており、
前記外径側の面は、前記ガスケットの軸線に直交する平面とされ、前記環状の突起は、縦断面円弧状とされて前記外径側の面に対して突出させられており、前記傾斜面の外径側の端部は、前記突起に接するようになされているとともに、
前記傾斜面の前記ガスケットの軸線に直交する方向の長さは、前記環状の突起の円弧状部分の前記ガスケットの軸線に直交する方向の長さよりも大きくなされていることを特徴とするシール構造。 - 前記傾斜面のさらに内径側に、前記ガスケットの軸線に直交する平面が設けられている請求項1記載のシール構造。
- 互いに連通する流体通路をそれぞれ有している第1の部材と第2の部材とをねじを締め付けて接続するに際し、ガスケットの軸線に直交する2つの側面を有している断面が長方形のものとされている環状のガスケットを前記両部材間に介在させるシール方法において、少なくとも一方の部材の前記ガスケットに対向する面に、環状の突起と、前記環状の突起から内径側にガスケットから離れる方向に傾斜して設けられた縦断面が直線状の傾斜面と、前記突起の外径側に設けられた外径側の面とを設けるとともに、前記傾斜面の前記ガスケットの軸線に直交する方向の長さを前記環状の突起の円弧状部分の前記ガスケットの軸線に直交する方向の長さよりも大きくしておき、前記ねじの締付けに伴って、まず、前記突起を前記ガスケットの側面に当接させ、次いで、前記傾斜面を前記突起に近い部分から前記ガスケットの側面に当接させることを特徴とするシール方法。
- 互いに連通する流体通路をそれぞれ有している第1および第2の部材と、前記両部材同士を結合する締付手段と、前記両部材の突き合わせ部に設けられるシール構造とを備えている継手であって、シール構造が請求項1または2のものとされていることを特徴とする継手。
- 逆止弁機構が内蔵されていることを特徴とする請求項4の継手。
