Claims (2)
- シリカガラスからなるコア部と、前記コア部を取り囲み前記コア部の屈折率より低い屈折率を有しFを含むシリカガラスからなるクラッド部とを備え、
前記コア部の中心軸を含まない領域に、Na,Kおよびこれらの化合物から選択される第1ドーパントを含み、
前記コア部の前記中心軸を含む領域に、シリカガラスの粘性を下げるドーパントであって、温度2000℃~2300℃での拡散係数が1×10-12cm2/sec以上かつ前記第1ドーパントの拡散係数より小さい第2ドーパントとして、Rb、Cs、Mg、CaおよびSrから選択される何れかを含み、
前記コア部の全体での前記第1ドーパントの平均濃度が10atomic ppm以上2000atomic ppm以下であり、
前記コア部の全体での前記第2ドーパントの平均濃度が10atomic ppm以上であり、
前記コア部において前記第1ドーパントのピーク濃度位置r1と前記コア部の半径r2との比(r2/r1)が3~9.5である、
光ファイバ母材。 - 前記コア部の全体でのClの平均濃度が10atomic ppm以上10000atomic ppm以下である、
請求項1に記載の光ファイバ母材。
