Description
液体エアロゾル形成基体を保持するハウジングを備えた液体貯蔵部分であって、前記ハウジングが開口部を持つものと、
複数の導電性フィラメントを含む流体透過性ヒーター組立品であって、流体透過性ヒーター組立品がハウジングに固定され、ハウジングの開口部を横切って延びるものとを含む。
液体エアロゾル形成基体を保持するハウジングを備えた液体貯蔵部分であって、前記ハウジングが開口部を持つものと、
複数の導電性フィラメントを含む流体透過性ヒーター組立品であって、流体透過性ヒーター組立品が、液体貯蔵部分のハウジングの開口部を横切って延びるものとを含む。
開口部を持つハウジングを備える液体貯蔵部分を提供する工程と、
前記液体貯蔵部分を液体エアロゾル形成基体で充填する工程と、
複数の導電性フィラメントを含む流体透過性ヒーター組立品を液体貯蔵部分に固定する工程であって、流体透過性ヒーター組立品が液体貯蔵部分のハウジングの開口部を横切って延びるものとを含む。
液体エアロゾル形成基体を保持するハウジングを備えた液体貯蔵部分であって、前記ハウジングが開口部を持つものと、
実質的に平坦な導電性のフィラメント配列を含む流体透過性ヒーター組立品を含み、前記流体透過性ヒーター組立品が前記ハウジングに固定され、前記ハウジングの前記開口部を横切って延び、
前記導電性フィラメント配列の面積が25mm2未満である、エアロゾル発生システム。
2. 前記ヒーター組立品が実質的に平面である、1に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
3. 毛細管媒体をさらに含み、前記毛細管媒体が実質的に前記ヒーター組立品と同じ大きさおよび形状であり、前記毛細管媒体が前記ヒーター組立品と接触して提供され、前記液体エアロゾル形成基体が前記毛細管媒体を通して前記導電性フィラメントに引き込まれる、2に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
4. 前記システムが主要ユニットおよび前記主要ユニットと取り外し可能なように結合されているカートリッジを含み、前記液体貯蔵部分および前記ヒーター組立品が前記カートリッジ内に提供され、前記主要ユニットが電源を含む、1~3のいずれかに記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
5. 前記複数のフィラメントがメッシュを形成する、1~4のいずれかに記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
6. 前記複数のフィラメントが互いに平行に配置された複数のフィラメントから成る、1~4のいずれかに記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
7. 前記毛細管材料が前記フィラメント間の隙間内に延びる、3に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
8. 前記毛細管材料が第一の毛細管材料および第二の毛細管材料を含み、前記第一の毛細管材料が前記ヒーター組立品と接触し、前記第二の毛細管材料が前記第一の毛細管材料と接触し、かつ前記ヒーター組立品と前記第一の毛細管材料によって間隙を介しており、前記第一の毛細管材料が前記第二の毛細管材料よりも高い熱分解温度を持つ、7または8に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
9. 前記第二の毛細管材料が20~160 mgの前記液体を保持する、8に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
10. 前記第一の毛細管材料の前記熱分解温度が、少なくとも160℃であり、少なくとも250℃であることが好ましい、9に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
11. 前記ヒーター組立品が第一の材料でできた少なくとも一つのフィラメントおよび前記第一の材料とは異なる第二の材料でできた少なくとも一つのフィラメントを含む、1~10のいずれかに記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
12. ヒーター組立品および電源に接続された電気回路をさらに含み、前記電気回路が、前記ヒーター組立品または前記ヒーター組立品の一つ以上のフィラメントの電気抵抗をモニタリングし、前記ヒーター組立品または前記一つ以上のフィラメントの前記電気抵抗に応じて前記電源から前記ヒーター組立品への動力供給を制御するように構成されている、1~11に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
13. 前記ヒーター組立品が、前記フィラメントがその上に保持される電気的に絶縁された基体を含む、1~12のいずれかに記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
14. 前記ヒーター組立品が複数の前記フィラメントと接触した導電性接点を含む、1~13のいずれかに記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
15. 前記システムが電気的に作動する喫煙システムである、1~14のいずれかに記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
16. 電気的に動作するエアロゾル発生システムで使用するためのカートリッジであって、
液体エアロゾル形成基体を保持する丈夫なハウジングを備えた液体貯蔵部分であって、前記ハウジングが開口部を持つものと、
複数の導電性フィラメントを含む流体透過性ヒーター組立品であって、流体透過性ヒーター組立品がハウジングに固定され、ハウジングの開口部を横切って延びるものとを含む。
17. ヒーター組立品が実質的に平面である、16に記載のカートリッジ。
18. 前記複数のフィラメントがメッシュを形成する、16または17のいずれかに記載のカートリッジ。
19. 前記複数のフィラメントが互いに平行に配列された複数のフィラメントから成る、16または17のいずれかに記載のカートリッジ。
20. 前記液体貯蔵部分の前記ハウジングが毛細管材料を含む、16~19のいずれかに記載のカートリッジ。
21. 前記毛細管材料が前記フィラメント間の隙間内に延びる、20に記載のカートリッジ。
22. 前記毛細管材料が第一の毛細管材料および第二の毛細管材料を含み、前記第一の毛細管材料が前記ヒーター組立品と接触し、前記第二の毛細管材料が前記第一の毛細管材料と接触しかつ前記ヒーター組立品と前記第一の毛細管材料によって間隙を介しており、前記第一の毛細管材料が前記第二の毛細管材料よりも高い熱分解温度を持つ、20または21に記載のカートリッジ。
23. 前記ヒーター組立品が第一の材料でできた少なくとも一つのフィラメントおよび前記第一の材料とは異なる第二の材料でできた少なくとも一つのフィラメントを含む、16~22のいずれかに記載のカートリッジ。
24. 前記ヒーター組立品が、フィラメントがその上に支持される電気的に絶縁された基体を含み、前記フィラメントが前記基体内に形成される開口部を横切って延びる、16~23のいずれかに記載のカートリッジ。
25. 前記ヒーター組立品が複数の前記フィラメントと接触する導電性接点を持つ、16~24のいずれかに記載のカートリッジ。
26. 前記ヒーター組立品が側方の平面内に延び、前記導電性接点が前記液体貯蔵部分の前記ハウジングを超えて側方に延びる、25に記載のカートリッジ。
27. 電気的に動作するエアロゾル発生システムで使用するためのカートリッジの製造方法であって、
開口部を持つハウジングを備える液体貯蔵部分を提供する工程と、
前記液体貯蔵部分を液体エアロゾル形成基体で充填する工程と、
複数の導電性フィラメントを含む流体透過性ヒーター組立品を液体貯蔵部分に固定する工程であって、流体透過性ヒーター組立品が液体貯蔵部分のハウジングの開口部を横切って延びるものとを含む。
Claims (13)
- エアロゾル発生システムであって、
液体エアロゾル形成基体を保持するハウジングを備えた液体貯蔵部分であって、前記ハウジングが開口部を持つものと、
流体透過性ヒーター組立品と
を含み、
前記流体透過性ヒーター組立品が前記ハウジングに固定され、前記ハウジングの前記開口部を横切って延び、
前記システムが主要ユニットおよび前記主要ユニットと取り外し可能なように結合されているカートリッジを含み、前記液体貯蔵部分および前記流体透過性ヒーター組立品が前記カートリッジ内に提供され、前記主要ユニットが電源を含み、
前記カートリッジは出口を含むマウスピース部分を含み、
前記流体透過性ヒーター組立品は、前記マウスピース部分とは反対の、前記カートリッジの端部に提供され、
気流が、空気吸込み口に入り、前記流体透過性ヒーター組立品のそばを、前記出口を通して通過する、
エアロゾル発生システム。 - 前記流体透過性ヒーター組立品が導電性のヒーターフィラメントを含む、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記ヒーターフィラメントが平坦な断面形状を持つ、請求項2に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記ヒーターフィラメントが、半導体、導電性のセラミック材料、炭素、黒鉛、金属、合金およびセラミック材料および金属材料でできた複合材料からなる群から選ばれる材料から形成される、請求項2または3に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記流体透過性ヒーター組立品が、前記ヒーターフィラメントがその上に支持される電気的に絶縁された基体を備える、請求項2~4のいずれか1項に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記基体が多孔性材料である、請求項5に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記ヒーターフィラメントが前記多孔性材料の表面に直接適用される、請求項6に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記多孔性材料の空隙率が、それを通して液体が前記ヒーターフィラメントに向けて引き出されるものである、請求項6または7に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記ハウジングが、金属、合金、プラスチックもしくはこれらの1つ以上の材料を含有する複合材料からなる群から選ばれる材料から形成される、請求項1~8のいずれか1項に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 全長が30mm~150mmである、請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記カートリッジと前記電源との間に電気的接続を提供する電気コネクターをさらに含む、請求項1~10のいずれか1項に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記マウスピース部分は、前記エアロゾル発生システムの使用時に前記カートリッジを前記電気コネクターと電気的に接触した状態に保つ、請求項11に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記マウスピース部分を通してユーザーが空気を吸い込んだ時を検出するよう構成された吸煙センサーをさらに含む、請求項1~12のいずれか1項に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
