Description
以下、内燃機関の制御装置を具体化した第1実施形態について、図1~図3を参照して説明する。
このパージ処理では、吸気の充填効率や、気筒11に供給される燃料蒸気の濃度(キャニスタ91から吸気通路15に流入する流体に含まれる燃料の質量比率)であるベーパ濃度Lpに基づき、目標パージ率Rpが算出される。ここで、パージ率とは、キャニスタ91から吸気通路15に流入する流体の質量流量FVを吸入空気量GAで割った値(FV/GA)である。そして、パージ率が目標パージ率Rpになるように吸入空気量GAに基づき、パージバルブ92の開度指令値が算出されて、その開度指令値に応じた開度となるようにパージバルブ92が操作される。なお、目標パージ率Rpが同一である場合、吸入空気量GAが少ないほど、パージバルブ92の開度が小さくなるように開度指令値が算出される。これは、吸入空気量GAが少ないほど、吸気通路15内の圧力がキャニスタ91内の圧力よりも低くなるため、キャニスタ91から吸気通路15に流体が流動しやすいためである。
一方、三元触媒22の昇温要求があると判定する場合には(S100:YES)、CPU110は、モータリング制御を開始する(S110)。このモータリング制御は、燃焼を停止した状態の内燃機関10のクランク軸14を第1モータジェネレータ71の動力で回転させる制御であり、モータリング制御が開始されてクランク軸14が回転されると、内燃機関10の各気筒11の吸排気が行われるようになる。
一方、触媒出ガス温度THeが規定の判定温度α以上である場合には(S130:YES)、CPU110は、気筒11内への燃料供給を停止することにより燃料導入処理を停止する(S140)。また、CPU110は、モータリング制御も停止する(S150)。そして、CPU110は、今回の本処理を終了する。
(GA/N)の値は、燃料噴射弁17の一噴射当たりに気筒11に吸入される吸気量である。この(GA/N)の値に目標パージ率Rp及びベーパ濃度Lpを乗算した値は、同吸気量に含まれる燃料の量になるため、この燃料の量が要求噴射量Qdと同じになれば、要求噴射量Qd分の燃料を燃料蒸気で補うことができる。

次に、CPU110は、S270で算出した目標パージ率Rpに基づいてパージ処理を実施する(280)。パージ処理が実施されると、キャニスタ91に捕集された燃料蒸気はパージ通路93及び吸気通路15を介して気筒11内に供給された後、未燃のまま三元触媒22に流入して同三元触媒22で燃焼する。そして、CPU110は、本処理を一旦終了する。
(1)要求噴射量Qdが燃料噴射弁17の最小噴射量Qmin未満である場合には、燃料導入処理の実行中における気筒11への燃料供給をパージ処理にて行うようにしている。このパージ処理では、燃料タンク90内で生じた燃料蒸気が気筒11に供給されるため、燃料タンク90内に貯留されている液状の燃料は消費されない。従って、燃料噴射弁17の燃料噴射により気筒11への燃料供給を行う場合と異なり、このパージ処理の実施による気筒11への燃料供給では、燃料導入処理の実行による燃費の悪化を抑えることができるようになる。
次に、内燃機関の制御装置を具体化した第2実施形態について、図4を参照して説明する。
次に、CPU110は、S330で算出した目標パージ率Rpに基づいてパージ処理を実施するとともに、S310で設定した目標噴射量Qt分の燃料が燃料噴射弁17から噴射されるように燃料噴射を実施する(S340)。そして、CPU110は、本処理を一旦終了する。なお、要求噴射量Qdが最小噴射量Qminと等しい場合には、パージ要求量Pdが「0」になるため、この場合には、燃料噴射弁17の燃料噴射のみを実施してパージ処理は実施しない。
(5)燃料導入処理の実行に際して、燃料噴射弁17の要求噴射量Qdが最小噴射量Qmin以上である場合には、最小噴射量Qminを燃料噴射弁17の目標噴射量Qtに設定して目標噴射量Qt分の燃料を燃料噴射弁17から噴射させる。そして、この燃料噴射と併用して、要求噴射量Qdから目標噴射量Qtを減じた分の燃料が気筒11内に供給されるようにパージ処理を実行するようにしている。

- 燃料が貯留された燃料タンクと、前記燃料タンク内の燃料を噴射する燃料噴射弁と、前記燃料噴射弁が噴射した燃料を含む混合気が導入される気筒と、前記気筒に導入された混合気を火花点火する点火装置と、前記気筒内から排出されたガスが流れる排気通路と、前記気筒に吸気を導入する吸気通路と、前記排気通路に設けられた三元触媒と、前記燃料タンク内で生じた燃料蒸気を捕集するキャニスタと、前記キャニスタに捕集された燃料蒸気を前記吸気通路に導入するパージ通路と、前記パージ通路を流れる燃料蒸気の流量を調整するパージバルブと、を備える内燃機関に適用されて、
前記パージバルブの制御を通じて前記キャニスタに捕集された燃料蒸気を前記吸気通路に導入するパージ処理と、前記気筒に供給された燃料を含む混合気を前記気筒で燃焼させずに前記排気通路に導入する燃料導入処理を実施する制御装置であって、
前記燃料導入処理の実行中に前記気筒に燃料を供給する燃料供給処理として、前記パージ処理を実行し、
前記燃料供給処理は、
前記燃料導入処理の実行中に前記気筒に供給する単位時間当たりの燃料の量である燃料導入量を算出する処理と、
前記燃料導入量分の燃料を前記気筒に供給するために必要な前記燃料噴射弁の一噴射当たりの噴射量である要求噴射量を算出する処理と、
前記要求噴射量が前記燃料噴射弁の最小噴射量未満である場合には、前記パージ処理の実行を通じて前記要求噴射量分の燃料を前記気筒内に供給する処理と、を実行する

前記パージバルブの制御を通じて前記キャニスタに捕集された燃料蒸気を前記吸気通路に導入するパージ処理と、前記気筒に供給された燃料を含む混合気を前記気筒で燃焼させずに前記排気通路に導入する燃料導入処理を実施する制御装置であって、
前記燃料導入処理の実行中に前記気筒に燃料を供給する燃料供給処理として、前記パージ処理を実行し、
前記燃料供給処理は、
前記燃料導入処理の実行中に前記気筒に供給する単位時間当たりの燃料の量である燃料導入量を算出する処理と、
前記燃料導入量分の燃料を前記気筒に供給するために必要な前記燃料噴射弁の一噴射当たりの噴射量である要求噴射量を算出する処理と、
前記要求噴射量が前記燃料噴射弁の最小噴射量以上である場合には、前記最小噴射量以上且つ前記要求噴射量未満の燃料量を前記燃料噴射弁の目標噴射量に設定して同目標噴射量分の燃料を前記燃料噴射弁から噴射させるとともに、前記パージ処理の実行を通じて前記要求噴射量から前記目標噴射量を減じた分の燃料を前記気筒内に供給する処理と、を実行する

前記燃料供給処理は、
前記燃料導入処理の実行中に前記気筒に供給する単位時間当たりの燃料の量である燃料導入量を算出する処理と、
前記燃料導入量分の燃料を前記気筒に供給するために必要な前記燃料噴射弁の一噴射当たりの噴射量である要求噴射量を算出する処理と、
前記要求噴射量が前記燃料噴射弁の最小噴射量未満である場合には、前記パージ処理の実行を通じて前記要求噴射量分の燃料を前記気筒内に供給する処理と、
前記要求噴射量が前記最小噴射量以上である場合には、前記最小噴射量以上且つ前記要求噴射量未満の燃料量を前記燃料噴射弁の目標噴射量に設定して同目標噴射量分の燃料を前記燃料噴射弁から噴射させるとともに、前記パージ処理の実行を通じて前記要求噴射量から前記目標噴射量を減じた分の燃料を前記気筒内に供給する処理と、を実行する
内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記燃料供給処理は、前記気筒に供給される燃料蒸気の濃度が規定の判定値以上である場合に前記パージ処理を実行する
