Description
図1に示されたゴルフボール2は、本体4と、この本体4の外側に位置するペイント層6とを有している。本体4は、球状のコア8と、このコア8の外側に位置する中間層10と、この中間層10の外側に位置するカバー12とを有している。ペイント層6は、カバー12の外側に位置する内層14と、この内層14の外側に位置する外層16とを有している。このゴルフボール2は、その表面に複数のディンプル18を有している。ゴルフボール2の表面のうちディンプル18以外の部分は、ランド20である。このゴルフボール2が、マーク層を有してもよい。このマーク層は、カバー12とペイント層6との間に位置してもよく、ペイント層6の外側に位置してもよい。マーク層が、内層14と外層16との間に位置してもよい。ペイント層6は、内層14と外層16との間に、さらに他の層を備えうる。

図2に示されたゴルフボール22は、本体24と、この本体24の外側に位置するペイント層26とを有している。本体24は、球状のコア28と、このコア28の外側に位置するカバー30とを有している。ペイント層26は、カバー30の外側に位置する内層32と、この内層32の外側に位置する外層34とを有している。このゴルフボール22は、その表面に複数のディンプル36を有している。ゴルフボール22の表面のうちディンプル36以外の部分は、ランド38である。このゴルフボール22が、マーク層を有してもよい。このマーク層は、カバー30とペイント層26との間に位置してよく、ペイント層26の外側に位置してもよい。マーク層が、内層32と外層34との間に位置してもよい。ペイント層26は、内層32と外層34との間に、さらに他の層を備えうる。
100質量部のハイシスポリブタジエン(JSR社の商品名「BR−730」)、23.5質量部のアクリル酸亜鉛(三新化学工業社の「サンセラーSR」)、5質量部の酸化亜鉛(東邦亜鉛社の商品名「銀嶺R」)、適量の硫酸バリウム(堺化学社の商品名「硫酸バリウムBD」)及び0.95質量部のジクミルパーオキサイド(日本油脂社の商品名「パークミルD」)を混練し、ゴム組成物を得た。このゴム組成物を共に半球状キャビティを備えた上型及び下型からなる金型に投入し、155℃の温度下で18分間加熱して、直径が38.7mmであるコアS1を得た。所定の質量のコアが得られるように、硫酸バリウムの量を調整した。得られたコアS1の詳細が、下記の表1に示されている。

ウレタンポリオールの重量平均分子量:4867
前述の主剤と硬化剤との混合比(A/B)を、下記の表3に示される通りとした以外は実施例1と同様にして、実施例2及び3並びに比較例1−3のゴルフボールを得た。
カバーの組成並びに第一塗料及び第二塗料の混合比(A/B)を下記の表3に示される通りとした他は実施例1と同様にして、実施例4のゴルフボールを得た。カバーの組成の詳細が、下記の表2に示されている。
100質量部のハイシスポリブタジエン(JSR社の商品名「BR−730」)、30.5質量部のアクリル酸亜鉛(三新化学工業社の「サンセラーSR」)、10質量部の酸化亜鉛(東邦亜鉛社の商品名「銀嶺R」)、適量の硫酸バリウム(堺化学社の商品名「硫酸バリウムBD」)、0.1質量部の2−チオナフトール(東京化成工業社)、0.3質量部のビス(ペンタブロモフェニル)ジスルフィド(PBPS)(川口化学工業社)、0.7質量部のジクミルパーオキサイド(日本油脂社の商品名「パークミルD」)及び2質量部の安息香酸(東京化成工業社)を混練し、ゴム組成物を得た。このゴム組成物を共に半球状キャビティを備えた上型及び下型からなる金型に投入し、150℃の温度下で19分間加熱して、直径が39.7mmであるコアS2を得た。所定の質量のコアが得られるように、硫酸バリウムの量を調整した。
実施例1で前述した主剤と硬化剤との混合比(A/B)を、下記の表4及び5に示される通りとした以外は実施例5と同様にして、実施例6−8及び比較例4−6のゴルフボールを得た。
カバーの組成並びに第一塗料及び第二塗料の混合比(A/B)を下記の表4に示される通りとした他は実施例5と同様にして、実施例9のゴルフボールを得た。カバーの組成の詳細が、下記の表2に示されている。
YAMADA式コンプレッションテスターにより、コア及びゴルフボールの圧縮変形量を測定した。このテスターでは、測定される球体(コア又はゴルフボール)が金属製の剛板の上に置かれる。この球体に向かって、金属製の円柱が徐々に降下する。この円柱の底面と剛板との間に挟まれた球体は、変形する。ゴルフボールに98Nの初荷重がかかった状態から1274Nの終荷重がかかった状態までの円柱の移動距離(mm)が、測定される。初荷重がかかるまでの円柱の移動速度は、0.83mm/sである。初荷重がかかってから終荷重がかかるまでの円柱の移動速度は、1.67mm/sである。得られたコアの圧縮変形量が、Scとして、下記の表1に示されている。得られたゴルフボールの圧縮変形量が、Sbとして下記の表3−5に示されている。
ゴルフラボラトリー社のスイングマシンに、サンドウェッジ(クリーブランドゴルフ社の商品名「CG15フォードウェッジ」、ロフト角:52°)を装着した。ヘッド速度が16m/sである条件でゴルフボールを打撃して、ドライ条件でのバックスピンの速度Rd(rpm)を測定した。サンドウェッジのフェース及びゴルフボールに水を付着させた状態で、同様の試験をおこなうことにより、ウェット条件でのバックスピン速度Rw(rpm)を測定した。各10回の測定で得られたデータの平均値が、下記の表3−5に示されている。
30名のプレーヤーにサンドウェッジ(クリーブランドゴルフ社の商品名「CG15フォードウェッジ」、ロフト角:52°)にてゴルフボールを打撃させ、打球感を聞き取った。「打球感がよい」と答えたプレーヤーの数に基づき、下記の格付けを行った。
A:25人以上
B:20−24人
C:15−19人
D:14人以下
この結果が、下記の表3−5に示されている。
ゴルフボールの表面の色調(L,a,b)を、色差計(コニカミノルタ社の「CM3500D)にて測定した。6質量%のヨウ素と4質量%のヨウ化カリウムとを含むエタノール溶液(すなわちヨードチンキ)を用意した。このヨードチンキを水で40倍に希釈した。この希釈液に、ゴルフボールを30秒間浸漬した。希釈液から取り出したゴルフボールの表面に付着した希釈液を、拭き取った。このゴルフボールの色調を、再度測定した。下記の数式に基づき、色差ΔEを算出した。
ΔE = (ΔL2 + Δa2 + Δb2)1/2
この色差ΔEに基づき、下記の格付けを行った。
A:ΔEが15以下である。
B:ΔEが15を超えて20以下である。
C:ΔEが20を超えて25以下である。
D:ΔEが25を超えている。
この結果が、下記の表3−5に示されている。

Claims (13)
- 本体と、この本体の外側に位置するペイント層とを備えたゴルフボールであって、
上記ペイント層が、内層と、この内層の外側に位置する外層とを有しており、
上記ゴルフボールの中心を通過する平面に沿った断面において、この断面に垂直な方向に、ナノインデンターのバーコビッチ圧子(65.03° As(h)=26.43h2)を用いて、30mgfの力が加えられたときの押し込み深さ(nm)が、温度30度にて測定されるとき、上記内層の断面における押し込み深さDiが、上記外層の断面における押し込み深さDoよりも小さく、
上記内層及び外層がポリウレタン塗料から形成されており、このポリウレタン塗料が、主剤であるポリオール組成物と、硬化剤であるポリイソシアネート組成物と、を含有しており、
上記外層を形成するポリウレタン塗料において、主剤が有する水酸基(OH基)と硬化剤が有するイソシアネート基(NCO基)のモル比(NCO/OH)が、0.16以上0.49以下であるゴルフボール。 - 本体と、この本体の外側に位置するペイント層とを備えたゴルフボールであって、
上記ペイント層が、内層と、この内層の外側に位置する外層とを有しており、
上記ゴルフボールの中心を通過する平面に沿った断面において、この断面に垂直な方向に、ナノインデンターのバーコビッチ圧子(65.03° As(h)=26.43h2)を用いて、30mgfの力が加えられたときの押し込み深さ(nm)が、温度30度にて測定されるとき、上記内層の断面における押し込み深さDiが、上記外層の断面における押し込み深さDoよりも小さく、
上記内層及び外層がポリウレタン塗料から形成されており、
上記内層の厚みTiが5μm以上10μm以下であり、上記外層の厚みToが5μm以上10μm以下であるゴルフボール。 - 本体と、この本体の外側に位置するペイント層とを備えたゴルフボールであって、
上記ペイント層が、内層と、この内層の外側に位置する外層とを有しており、
上記ゴルフボールの中心を通過する平面に沿った断面において、この断面に垂直な方向に、ナノインデンターのバーコビッチ圧子(65.03° As(h)=26.43h2)を用いて、30mgfの力が加えられたときの押し込み深さ(nm)が、温度30度にて測定されるとき、上記内層の断面における押し込み深さDiが、上記外層の断面における押し込み深さDoよりも小さく、
上記内層及び外層がポリウレタン塗料から形成されており、このポリウレタン塗料が、主剤であるポリオール組成物と、硬化剤であるポリイソシアネート組成物と、を含有しており、
上記ポリオール組成物が、数平均分子量が550以上3,000以下であるポリエーテルジオールを含有するウレタンポリオールを含む組成物、又は、シクロデキストリンの水酸基の少なくとも一部が、−O−C3H6−O−基を介して、カプロラクトン鎖によって変性されたポリロタキサンを含む組成物であるゴルフボール。 - 上記押し込み深さDiが、1000nm未満である請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のゴルフボール。
- 上記押し込み深さDoが、1000nm以上である請求項1から4のいずれかに記載のゴルフボール。
- 上記押し込み深さDoと上記押し込み深さDiとの差(Do−Di)が、50nm以上1800nm以下である請求項1から5のいずれかに記載のゴルフボール。
- 上記内層の厚みTiが5μm以上50μm以下であり、上記外層の厚みToが5μm以上50μm以下である請求項1又は3に記載のゴルフボール。
- 上記本体が、コアと、このコアの外側に位置するカバーとを有しており、
上記ペイント層が上記カバーに積層されており、
上記カバーのショアD硬度Hcが、50以上80以下である請求項1から7のいずれかに記載のゴルフボール。 - 上記押し込み深さDoと上記押し込み深さDiとの差(Do−Di)が、50nm以上1000nm以下である請求項8に記載のゴルフボール。
- 上記本体が、コアと、このコアの外側に位置するカバーとを有しており、
上記ペイント層が上記カバーに積層されており、
上記カバーのショアD硬度Hcが、20以上50未満である請求項1から7のいずれかに記載のゴルフボール。 - 上記押し込み深さDoと上記押し込み深さDiとの差(Do−Di)が、200nm以上1800nm以下である請求項10に記載のゴルフボール。
- 上記本体が、上記コアと上記カバーとの間に、さらに中間層を有している請求項10又は11に記載のゴルフボール。
- 上記内層を形成するポリウレタン塗料において、主剤が有する水酸基(OH基)と硬化剤が有するイソシアネート基(NCO基)のモル比(NCO/OH)が、0.50以上2.0以下である、請求項1から12のいずれかに記載のゴルフボール。
