Description
本明細書に説明されている実施形態は、血管内の(経皮的に送達される)下大静脈(IVC)フィルターデバイスおよび方法に関連し、具体的には、一時的IVCフィルターについてである。
一時的IVCフィルターは、永久フィルターに酷似して留置されるが、一時的IVCフィルターは、別個の血管内手術において、概して大腿静脈または内頸静脈付近から回収され得るように設計される。現在利用可能な一時的フィルターの多くは、フック状機構を含み、そのフック状機構によって、一時的フィルターは、S字スネアまたは複数ループスネアを用いることによって除去用のカテーテルまたはシース内に捕捉されて回収されることが可能である。
