前記センサに接続し、前記試験プレートに沿って配置された背面の上に並べられ、選択したセンサのセンサシグナルがデータ出力でアクセスすることができるように構成されたセンサ選択回路とを備え、
前記複数のセンサが音響センサを備え、前記複数のウェルのそれぞれが、前記背面から延びるウェル壁部によって規定され、相互に分離されており、
前記ウェル壁部は、前記試験プレートの上に配置された電気接続層により、少なくともその一部がコーティングされ、
前記複数のセンサが電気センサをさらに備え、該電気センサと前記電気接続層との間の垂直方向の電気インピーダンスを検知することができるようにされている、デバイス。 - 前記デバイスが、それぞれのウェルに光学的に問い合わせることができる1つ以上の光学的に透明な領域を有する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記センサ選択回路および前記センサのうち、少なくとも1つが、薄膜トランジスタ(TFT)を備えている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記複数のセンサが、電気センサ、化学物質センサ、光学センサ、音響センサおよび酸素センサのうち2つ以上を備えている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記センサシグナルは、インピーダンス、光学スペクトル、表現型のシグネチャー、生物物理学シグネチャー、化学シグネチャー、機能的なシグネチャー、機械的なシグネチャー、細胞の運動、細胞の付着および拡散、細胞の侵襲、細胞増殖、細胞のシグナル導入、細胞の経路、毒性、細胞の電気穿孔、細胞の位置、細胞数、細胞の生存能力、細胞の剛性、マトリックスの剛性、細胞外のpH、運動度、横方向の物質移動および垂直方向の物質移動、分析対象の細胞骨格に向けられた挙動の1つ以上についての情報を含む、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- デバイスを製造する方法であって、
複数のウェルを有し、それぞれのウェルが、分析対象の物質を含むように構成された試験プレートを作成することと、
前記物質の特徴を検知し、検知された特徴に基づいてセンサシグナルを作成するように構成された複数のセンサを製造することと、
前記センサに接続し、選択したセンサのセンサシグナルがデータ出力でアクセスすることができるように構成されたセンサ選択回路を製造することと、
複数のセンサがそれぞれのウェルと関連するように前記ウェルに対して前記センサを並べことであって、前記複数のセンサのそれぞれが、前記複数のセンサの別のセンサによって検知される特徴とは異なる物質の特徴を検知するように構成されたウェルと関連する、並べることとを含み、
前記複数のセンサが音響センサを備え、
前記センサ選択回路及び前記センサは前記背面の上に並べられ、前記背面は前記試験プレートに沿って配置され、前記複数のウェルのそれぞれが、前記背面から延びるウェル壁部によって規定され、相互に分離されており、
前記ウェル壁部は、前記試験プレートの上に配置された電気接続層により、少なくともその一部がコーティングされ、
前記複数のセンサが電気センサをさらに備え、該電気センサと前記電気接続層との間の垂直方向の電気インピーダンスを検知することができるようにされている方法。 - それぞれのウェルに関連する複数のセンサを用い、試験プレートのウェル中に配置された分析対象の物質の複数の特徴を時間経過に伴って検知することであって、前記複数のセンサの少なくとも1つが、前記複数のセンサの別のものによって検知される特徴とは異なる物質の特徴を検知するように構成される、検知することと、
検知された特徴に基づいてセンサシグナルを作成することと、
アドレスラインを活性化し、選択したセンサのセンサシグナルをデータ出力でアクセス可能にすることとを含み、
前記複数のセンサが音響センサを備え、
前記センサ選択回路及び前記センサは前記背面の上に並べられ、前記背面は前記試験プレートに沿って配置され、前記複数のウェルのそれぞれが、前記背面から延びるウェル壁部によって規定され、相互に分離されており、
前記ウェル壁部は、前記試験プレートの上に配置された電気接続層により、少なくともその一部がコーティングされ、
前記複数のセンサが電気センサをさらに備え、該電気センサと前記電気接続層との間の垂直方向の電気インピーダンスを検知することができるようにされている方法。
