Claims (13)
- 船舶を推進する内燃機関(50)であって、

水素ガスおよび酸素ガスを生成する電解室(20)と、
ターボ過給機(40)と、
前記水素ガスおよび前記酸素ガスの少なくとも一部を含むガス混合物を、前記ターボ過給機(40)の圧縮機(42)を介して前記燃焼室(52)へ搬送できるように設計された供給ライン(38)とを備える、船舶推進システムであって、
前記水素ガスおよび前記酸素ガスを前記電解室(20)から抜き出す真空ポンプ(25)と、
メタノールまたはエタノールが受容され、受容されたメタノールまたはエタノールをガス化する、ガス化タンク(30)と、
圧縮空気を前記ガス化タンク(30)に供給し、前記ガス化タンク(30)でのメタノールまたはエタノールのガス化を増大する空気圧縮機(35)と、
を備え、
前記供給ライン(38)および前記ターボ過給機(40)を介して前記燃焼室(52)に案内される前記ガス混合物に、前記ガス化タンク(30)からのガス化したメタノールまたはエタノールを含ませることを特徴とする船舶推進システム。 - 請求項1に記載の船舶推進システムであって、
前記真空ポンプ(25)および前記ガス化タンク(30)が、前記水素ガスおよび前記酸素ガスを少なくとも部分的に、前記真空ポンプ(25)を通して前記電解室(20)から前記ガス化タンク(30)へと搬送して、前記ガス混合物を生成することができるように配置されたことを特徴とする船舶推進システム。 - 請求項1または2に記載の船舶推進システムであって、

メタノールまたはエタノールを貯蔵する貯蔵タンク(32)が提供され、前記ガス化タンク(30)に接続されたことを特徴とする船舶推進システム。 - 請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の船舶推進システムであって、
前記電解室(20)に電流が供給され、電流を用いて前記水素ガスおよび前記酸素ガスが前記電解室(20)内で得られ、
前記電流、および/または前記電解室(20)への水の導入、および/または前記真空ポンプ(25)の給送能力を制御するように構成された、制御手段(10)が存在することを特徴とする船舶推進システム。 - 請求項6に記載の船舶推進システムであって、
前記制御手段(10)は、前記内燃機関(50)の給気圧力に基づいて、前記電流、および/または前記電解室(20)への水の導入、および/または前記真空ポンプ(25)の前記給送能力を制御するように構成され、
前記制御手段(10)が、前記給気圧力が高いほど、前記電流および前記給送能力を高く設定するように構成されたことを特徴とする船舶推進システム。 - 請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の船舶推進システムを備えることを特徴とする船舶。
- 船舶が内燃機関(50)を用いて推進され、推進のためにディーゼル燃料が前記内燃機関(50)の燃焼室(52)に導入され、
電解室(20)内で水素ガスおよび酸素ガスが生成され、
前記水素ガスおよび前記酸素ガスの少なくとも一部を含むガス混合物が、ターボ過給機(40)の圧縮機(42)を介して前記燃焼室(52)へと搬送される、船舶推進システムの操作方法であって、
真空ポンプ(25)を用いて、前記水素ガスおよび前記酸素ガスを前記電解室(20)から抜き出すという操作と、
メタノールまたはエタノールをガス化させるガス化タンクへ空気圧縮機(35)からの圧縮空気を給送し、前記ガス化タンク(30)でのメタノールまたはエタノールのガス化を増大するという操作と、
前記ターボ過給機を介して前記燃焼室(52)へと案内される前記ガス混合物に、前記ガス化タンク(30)からのガス化したメタノールまたはエタノールを混合するという操作を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項9に記載の方法であって、
前記電解室(20)内で、前記真空ポンプ(25)によって、1bar未満の減圧された圧力が発生することを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項9または10に記載の方法であって、
前記真空ポンプ(25)が、前記電解室(20)の動作中、前記電解室(20)内に残存するガスの量が、最大で前記電解室(20)の四分の一の量となるようにガスを前記電解室(20)から抜き出すことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項9から11のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、
点火タイミングが、上死点よりも前に20°未満のクランク軸角度でもたらされることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項9から12のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、
前記内燃機関(50)の給気圧力が既定の閾値に達すると、前記真空ポンプ(25)が最大給送能力で操作され、
更に、前記給気圧力が前記既定の閾値を上回ると、圧縮空気を前記ガス化タンク(30)へと給送する前記空気圧縮機(35)が操作されることを特徴とする方法。
