Description
Claims (5)
- 発光面を含む前面とその反対側の後面とを含み可撓性を備える面発光光源と、
入光面を備えた透明板と、前記入光面から入光した光が出光する出光面と、前記入光面から入光した光を前記出光面まで導光する導光部と、前記面発光光源を保持する保持部と、を含む透明部材と、
前記入光面から入光し、前記導光部によって前記出光面まで導光され、前記出光面から出光する光を発光する光源と、を備えた車両用灯具であって、
前記透明板の前面には、前記透明板の前面から前記面発光光源よりも前方に向かって延び、前記面発光光源の上縁部に沿って配置される上縁部延長部と、
前記透明板の前面から前記面発光光源よりも前方に向かって延び、前記面発光光源の下縁部に沿って配置される下縁部延長部と、
前記透明板の前面から前記面発光光源の後面に向かって延び、前記上縁部延長部と前記下縁部延長部との間に位置する中間延長部とを備え、
前記出光面は、少なくとも前記面発光光源の上縁部よりも前方に位置する前記上縁部延長部の先端部と、前記面発光光源の下縁部よりも前方に位置する前記下縁部延長部の先端部とにおいて形成されており、
前記保持部は、前記上縁部延長部に形成された溝部または段差部からなる上縁部保持部と、前記下縁部延長部に形成された溝部または段差部からなる下縁部保持部と、を備え、
前記面発光光源は、前記透明板の前方に前記面発光光源の後面と前記透明板の前面とが対向した状態で配置され、
前記保持部に前記面発光光源の端部の少なくとも一部が当接し、かつ、前記中間延長部の先端部が前記面発光光源の後面に当接して前記面発光光源を屈曲した状態を保って保持されており、
前記光源は、前記入光面に対向して配置された半導体発光素子であり、
前記透明板は、さらに、前記入光面と対向する位置に前記入光面から入光した前記光源からの光を放射状に反射する第1反射面と、前記第1反射面にて反射されてきた光を前記出光面に向けて反射する第2反射面とを備え、
前記第2反射面は、前記透明板の前面から延びる前記上縁部延長部に対応する前記透明板の後面の位置に形成された多重反射面と、前記透明板の前面から延びる前記下縁部延長部に対応する前記透明板の後面の位置に形成された多重反射面を有し、
前記面発光光源は、不透明であり、
前記入光面及び前記光源は、前記面発光光源の後面側の位置に配置されていることを特徴とする車両用灯具。 - 前記面発光光源の前記発光面を覆った状態で前記透明部材に保持される付加透明部材をさらに備える請求項1に記載の車両用灯具。
- 前記面発光光源は、正面視で矩形形状であり、
前記面発光光源を屈曲した状態は、左右方向に延びる断面が直線状で、かつ、上下方向の断面が前方に向かって凸または前方に向かって凹の屈曲形状を有する請求項1または2に記載の車両用灯具。 - 前記透明板は、前記面発光光源に近似した大きさの矩形形状であり、
前記第2反射面における前記透明板の前面から延びる前記上縁部延長部に対応する前記透明板の後面の位置に形成された前記多重反射面が、前記透明板の上縁部に形成されており、
前記第2反射面における前記透明板の前面から延びる前記下縁部延長部に対応する前記透明板の後面の位置に形成された前記多重反射面が、前記透明板の下縁部に形成されている請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の車両用灯具。 - 前記面発光光源は、赤色光を発光する発光面を有し、前記発光面から出光する光によりテールランプの機能を実現し、
前記光源は、赤色光を発光するLEDであり、前記出光面から出光する光によりストップランプの機能を実現する請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の車両用灯具。
