Claims (1)
- シリンダと、前記シリンダ内に往復動可能に配置されたピストンと、前記シリンダ上に配設されると共に前記シリンダの内周面及び前記ピストンの頂面と共にペントルーフ型の燃焼室を形成する天井面を有するシリンダヘッドと、前記燃焼室に臨むように前記シリンダヘッドに配設された点火プラグとを備え、前記ピストンの頂面に前記シリンダヘッドの天井面に沿った吸気側傾斜面及び排気側傾斜面を有する隆起部が設けられると共に、前記隆起部に前記点火プラグに対応して下方に窪むキャビティが設けられた火花点火式内燃機関であって、
前記シリンダヘッドに、前記燃焼室内にタンブル流を生成するように吸気ポートが設けられ、
前記吸気側傾斜面及び前記排気側傾斜面は、前記排気側傾斜面が排気弁の傘部底面よりも前記シリンダの軸方向と直交する直交面とのなす角度が小さく且つ前記排気側傾斜面と前記排気弁の傘部底面とのなす角度と前記吸気側傾斜面と吸気弁の傘部底面とのなす角度との差が3度以上であるように形成されており、
前記排気側傾斜面には、前記排気弁に対応して下方に窪んでおり、底面が前記排気弁の前記傘部底面と平行である、排気弁リセスが設けられており、
前記吸気側傾斜面及び前記排気側傾斜面は、前記排気側傾斜面の傾斜角度が前記吸気側傾斜面の傾斜角度よりも小さくなるように形成されている、
ことを特徴とする火花点火式内燃機関。
