Description
−接合構造体の全体構成−
図1は、本実施形態に係る接合構造体1における接合部4およびその近傍部を模式的に示す部分拡大断面図である。なお、図1は断面図であるが、図を見易くするために、レーザ透過性樹脂部材2のハッチングを省略している。また、図1では、第2樹脂成分6の大きさを誇張して示しているが、実際には各第2樹脂成分6の大きさは数マイクロレベルである。
レーザ透過性樹脂部材2を構成する熱可塑性樹脂、および、レーザ吸収性樹脂部材3における第1樹脂成分5を構成する熱可塑性樹脂の一例としては、PVC(ポリ塩化ビニル)、PS(ポリスチレン)、AS(アクリロニトリル・スチレン)、ABS(アクリロニトリル・ブタジエン・スチレン)、PMMA(ポリメチルメタクリレート)、PE(ポリエチレン)、PP(ポリプロピレン)、PC(ポリカーボネート)、m−PPE(変性ポリフェニレンエーテル)、PA6(ポリアミド6)、PA66(ポリアミド66)、POM(ポリアセタール)、PET(ポリエチレンテレフタレート)、PBT(ポリブチレンテレフタレート)、PSF(ポリサルホン)、PAR(ポリアリレート)、PEI(ポリエーテルイミド)、PPS(ポリフェニレンサルファイド)、PES(ポリエーテルサルホン)、PEEK(ポリエーテルエーテルケトン)、PAI(ポリアミドイミド)、LCP(液晶ポリマー)、PVDC(ポリ塩化ビニリデン)、PTFE(ポリテトラフルオロエチレン)、PCTFE(ポリクロロトリフルオロエチレン)およびPVDF(ポリフッ化ビニリデン)が挙げられる。また、レーザ透過性樹脂部材2および第1樹脂成分5は、TPE(熱可塑性エラストマ)であってもよく、TPEの一例としては、TPO(オレフィン系)、TPS(スチレン系)、TPEE(エステル系)、TPU(ウレタン系)、TPA(ナイロン系)およびTPVC(塩化ビニル系)が挙げられる。
本実施形態の接合構造体1は、上述の如く、レーザ透過性樹脂部材2とレーザ吸収性樹脂部材3とを対面させて設置し、加圧して面接触させた後、レーザ透過性樹脂部材2側からレーザビームを照射することで形成される。このレーザ照射では、レーザビームを吸収して発熱したレーザ吸収性樹脂部材3の接合界面およびその近傍部の温度が、第1樹脂成分5および第2樹脂成分6が共に溶融して流動可能な状態となるような温度以上、且つ、樹脂分解温度以下となるように熱制御を行う。それ故、接合構造体1における、レーザ透過性樹脂部材2とレーザ吸収性樹脂部材3との接合部4は、レーザ透過性樹脂部材2とレーザ吸収性樹脂部材3との接合界面およびその近傍部が溶融し、溶融したレーザ透過性樹脂部材2とレーザ吸収性樹脂部材3とが混ざった状態で凝固した溶融凝固部によって構成されている。
本実施形態は、レーザ吸収性樹脂部材13が海島構造を有するポリマーアロイである点が、上記実施形態1と異なるものである。以下では、実施形態1と異なる点を中心に説明する。
図2は、本実施形態に係る接合構造体11における接合部14およびその近傍部を模式的に示す部分拡大断面図である。なお、図2は断面図であるが、図を見易くするために、レーザ透過性樹脂部材12のハッチングを省略している。また、図2では、島成分である第3樹脂成分17の大きさを誇張して示しているが、実際には各第3樹脂成分17の大きさは数十マイクロレベルである。
レーザ透過性樹脂部材12並びに第1および第3樹脂成分15,17を構成する熱可塑性樹脂および熱可塑性エラストマは、上記実施形態1におけるレーザ透過性樹脂部材2および第1樹脂成分5を構成する熱可塑性樹脂または熱可塑性エラストマと同様である。そうして、レーザ透過性樹脂部材12としては、上記熱可塑性樹脂および熱可塑性エラストマのナチュラル材を用いることが好ましい。一方、第1および第3樹脂成分15,17としては、上記熱可塑性樹脂および熱可塑性エラストマに、例えばカーボンブラックといったレーザ吸収色素を添加したものを用いることが好ましい。
本実施形態の接合構造体11は、レーザ透過性樹脂部材12とレーザ吸収性樹脂部材13とを対面させて設置し、加圧して面接触させた後、レーザ透過性樹脂部材12側からレーザビームを照射することで形成される。このレーザ照射では、第1および第3樹脂成分15,17並びに分散材16が溶融して流動可能な状態となるような温度以上、且つ、樹脂分解温度以下となるように熱制御を行う。
次に、本発明に係る接合構造体1,11の接合強度を確認するために行った実験例について、図3を参照しながら説明する。

Claims (2)
- レーザ透過性樹脂部材とレーザ吸収性樹脂部材とで構成される接合構造体であって、
上記レーザ吸収性樹脂部材は、上記レーザ透過性樹脂部材と相溶性を有しない第1樹脂成分を海成分とし、上記レーザ透過性樹脂部材と相溶性を有する第3樹脂成分を島成分とする海島構造を有し、且つ、上記レーザ透過性樹脂部材および上記第1樹脂成分と相溶性を有する分散材を含むポリマーアロイであり、
上記レーザ透過性樹脂部材と上記レーザ吸収性樹脂部材との接合部を構成する溶融凝固部における上記分散材の存在比率が、上記レーザ吸収性樹脂部材における上記分散材の存在比率よりも高いことを特徴とする接合構造体。 - 上記請求項1に記載の接合構造体において、
上記レーザ吸収性樹脂部材における上記分散材の存在比率が5重量%以上であることを特徴とする接合構造体。
