Abstract
Description
この実験では図3(A),(B)に示すように、市販の未使用の乳児用紙おむつ(P&G社製,商品名「初めての肌の一番」26g/枚)2枚に対し、水道水2リットルを加水して粉砕装置(業務用ディスポーザー、回転数1425rpm〜1725rpm)で1分間切断して微粉砕した処理物を、目開き20mmの金網上に静置して1分間の篩い処理を行い、網目からの落下状態を確認した。
この実験はゲル化した高吸水性樹脂に対する各種の分解剤又はそれらの組合せや配合比による分解性能を確認するためのもので、いずれの場合も高吸水性樹脂(医薬品添加物規格アクリル酸デンプン)1gに対し、200gの水を加え、ゲル形成させ、分解剤を添加混合したものを、線径0.4mm,目開き1mmの格子格網により濾過し、網上に残された残渣量を測定することにより分解率を算出した。以下表1〜表7に実験結果を示す。

Claims (2)
- 高吸水性樹脂を用いた使用済衛生用品に対し、加水して切断粉砕する粉砕処理と、排泄物の水分により膨潤した上記高吸水性樹脂の親水性又は保水力を失わせる分解剤を添加混合する分解処理とを行う使用済衛生用品の処理方法であって、上記粉砕処理に際して衛生用品の素材を高速回転する切断刃(4b)で切断して微粉砕し、分解処理に際して上記微粉砕した処理物にさらに加水するとともに、塩化カルシウム,塩化カルシウムとクエン酸又はリンゴ酸の少なくともいずれかを加えてなる分解剤を添加して撹拌混合することにより下水道管を詰まらせることなく下水道への排出が可能な流動性を付与し、該流動性を付与された処理物を水分と共に下水道に放流処理する使用済衛生用品の処理方法。
- 複数個の切断刃を有し、高速回転をするカッター軸(4a)を備えた粉砕装置(1)により処理物を切断して微粉砕する請求項1に記載の使用済衛生用品の処理方法。
