該第1吸い込み口(60)から離れて位置し、前記エレメント(64)で濾過したエアを吸い込んで、前記エンジン(100)の吸気系(6)の混合気通路にエアを供給する第2吸い込み口(62)と、
前記第1吸い込み口(60)又は前記第2吸い込み口(62)に通じる延長通路(72)を形成する通路形成部材(70,204)とを有し、
該通路形成部材(70,204)が、前記第1吸い込み口(60)又は前記第2吸い込み口(62)の周囲を包囲する形状を有し、
該通路形成部材(70,204)によって、前記延長通路(72)から独立した前記第1吸い込み口(60)又は前記第2吸い込み口(62)に通じる吹き返し燃料拡散防止領域(74)が形成され、
前記通路形成部材(70)が、その長手方向一端部の入口部分(72a)と、他端部の出口部分(72b)とを有し、
前記入口部分(72a)と前記出口部分(72b)との間の第1の隙間(80)を通じて、前記吹き返し燃料拡散防止領域(74)が、前記エレメント(64)で規定されるエアクリーナ清浄空間に開放していることを特徴とする層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジン用のエアクリーナ(30,200)を提供することにより達成される。

Claims (7)
- エアを濾過するエレメントを備えたエレメント部材と、
前記エレメントで濾過したエアを吸い込んで、エンジンの吸気系のエア通路にエアを供給する第1吸い込み口と、
該第1吸い込み口から離れて位置し、前記エレメントで濾過したエアを吸い込んで、前記エンジンの吸気系の混合気通路にエアを供給する第2吸い込み口と、
前記第1吸い込み口又は前記第2吸い込み口に通じる延長通路を形成する通路形成部材とを有し、
該通路形成部材が、前記第1吸い込み口又は前記第2吸い込み口の周囲を包囲する形状を有し、
該通路形成部材によって、前記延長通路から独立した前記第1吸い込み口又は前記第2吸い込み口に通じる吹き返し燃料拡散防止領域が形成され、
前記通路形成部材が、その長手方向一端部の入口部分と、他端部の出口部分とを有し、
前記入口部分と前記出口部分との間の第1の隙間を通じて、前記吹き返し燃料拡散防止領域が、前記エレメントで規定されるエアクリーナ清浄空間に開放していることを特徴とする層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジン用のエアクリーナ。 - 前記第1吸い込み口又は前記第2吸い込み口が、前記第2吸い込み口又は前記第1吸い込み口よりも内方に位置している、請求項1に記載の層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジン用のエアクリーナ。
- 前記通路形成部材の天井壁が凹部を有し、該凹部を通じて前記吹き返し燃料拡散防止領域が前記エアクリーナ清浄空間に開放している、請求項2に記載の層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジン用のエアクリーナ。
- 前記延長通路が折り返しの無い通路形状を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジン用のエアクリーナ。
- 前記通路形成部材が、前記第1吸い込み口の周囲のほぼ全周に亘って延びている、請求項4に記載の層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジン用のエアクリーナ。
- 前記第1吸い込み口又は前記第2吸い込み口に隣接して、前記通路形成部材の出口部分が位置し、該通路形成部材の出口部分によって、前記第1吸い込み口又は前記第2吸い込み口に隣接した反射壁が形成され、該反射壁によって前記第1吸い込み口又は前記第2吸い込み口から出る吹き返し燃料が前記吹き返し燃料拡散防止領域に向けて反射される、請求項5に記載の層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジン用のエアクリーナ。
- 前記通路形成部材によって前記第2吸い込み口に通じる延長通路が形成される、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジン用のエアクリーナ。
