Description
本発明の合わせガラス用中間膜は、周波数1Hz、振り角gamma0.01%、温度20℃の条件下、動的粘弾性試験により測定される貯蔵弾性率が1.0×106Pa以上であるスキン層と、前記貯蔵弾性率が1.0×106Pa未満であるコア層が交互に積層され、前記コア層を2層以上有する合わせガラス用中間膜であって、前記複数のコア層において各コア層の厚み(mm)を平均した値と前記合わせガラス用中間膜全体の厚み(mm)との積の値が0.15以上である。なお、複数のコア層において各コア層の厚み(mm)を平均した値とは、合わせガラス用中間膜が有するコア層の厚み(mm)の合計値をコア層の層数で除した値であり、以下、「コア層平均厚み」ともいう。
以下、中間膜1Aを構成する各要素について説明する。
中間膜におけるコア層、スキン層の作製には、上述した熱可塑性樹脂を主成分として含有する熱可塑性樹脂含有組成物が用いられる。該熱可塑性樹脂含有組成物は、本発明の効果を阻害しない範囲で各種目的に応じて、例えば、赤外線吸収剤、紫外線吸収剤、蛍光剤、接着性調整剤、カップリング剤、界面活性剤、酸化防止剤、熱安定剤、光安定剤、脱水剤、消泡剤、帯電防止剤、難燃剤等の各種添加剤の1種類もしくは2種類以上を含有していてもよい。これらの添加剤はコア層およびスキン層において、それぞれ全体に均一に含有される。
実施形態の中間膜は、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲で、その他の層として、中間膜の層間に機能フィルムを有してもよい。機能フィルムとしては、例えば、赤外線遮蔽フィルム等が挙げられる。赤外線遮蔽フィルムとして、具体的には、25〜200μm程度の厚みのPETフィルム等の支持フィルム上に、赤外線反射膜として膜厚100〜500nm程度の、誘電体多層膜、液晶配向膜、赤外線反射材含有コーティング膜、金属膜を含む単層または多層の赤外線反射膜等の従来公知の赤外線反射膜が形成されたものが挙げられる。赤外線遮蔽フィルムとしては、さらに屈折率の異なる樹脂フィルムを積層した合計膜厚が25〜200μm程度の誘電多層フィルム等が挙げられる。本発明の中間膜が機能フィルムを有する場合、中間膜全体の厚み、中間膜の一方の主面から最も遠いコア層の一方の主面側の面から一方の主面までの距離および中間膜の他方の主面から最も遠いコア層の他方の主面側の面から他方の主面までの距離は機能フィルムを含む厚み、距離である。
本発明の合わせガラスは、互いに対向する1対のガラス板と、該1対のガラス板間に挟持される上記本発明の中間膜を備える。本発明の合わせガラスは、本発明の中間膜を用いることで、中間膜に起因する気泡の発生やその大面積化、特にはIce Flower状発泡の形成、成長が抑制された合わせガラスである。
合わせガラス10における1対のガラス板4A、4Bの板厚は、合わせガラス10の用途により適宜選択できるが、一般的にはそれぞれ0.1〜10mmとすることができ、遮音性および軽量化の観点から0.3〜2.5mmが好ましい。
実施形態の合わせガラスは、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲で、その他の層を有してもよい。その他の層としては、例えば、合わせガラスの枠体等への取り付け部分や配線導体等を隠蔽する目的で、合わせガラスの周縁部の一部または全部に帯状に配設される黒色セラミックス層が挙げられる。黒色セラミックス層の幅は、合わせガラスの用途に応じて適宜選択される。例えば、合わせガラスが、自動車の天井部位に使用されるルーフガラスの場合には、黒色セラミックス層は、通常、幅が10〜100mm程度の額縁状に形成される。また、自動車のサイドガラスに用いる場合は、通常、幅が30〜200mm程度の帯状に形成されることがある。
本発明の実施形態の合わせガラスは、一般的に用いられる公知の技術により製造できる。合わせガラス10においては、上記のようにしてスキン層21、コア層31、スキン層22、コア層32、スキン層23の順に積層した中間膜1Aを作製し、あるいは各層の製膜時に共押出しで中間膜1Aを作製し、これを1対のガラス板4A、4Bの間に挿入して、ガラス板4A、中間膜1A(ただし、ガラス板4A側にスキン層21が位置する)、ガラス板4Bの順に積層された圧着前の合わせガラスである合わせガラス前駆体を準備する。その他の層を有する場合も、同様に得られる合わせガラスと同様の積層順にガラス板と各層を積層してガラス前駆体を準備する。
各例において表1に示す積層構成の中間膜を製造した。なお、中間膜におけるスキン層には厚み以外は全て同じPVBシート(貯蔵弾性率G’s;1.9×107Pa)を用いた。また、コア層としては全て厚みが0.1mmのPVBシート(貯蔵弾性率G’c;0.1×106Pa)を用いた。なお、表1中、「−」は、該当の層がないことを示す。例1、5、6の中間膜は、図1に示す中間膜1Aと同じ積層構成の中間膜である。例2の中間膜は、図2に示す中間膜1Bと同じ積層構成の中間膜である。例3、4は1層のコア層を2層のスキン層で挟持した構成の3層構造の中間膜である。全ての例において、スキン層21側の主面がSa、それとは反対側の主面がSbである。
上記で得られた中間膜を用いて、評価用の合わせガラスを以下のとおり作製して、遮音性を評価し、さらに、発泡試験に供して発泡抑制効果を評価した。結果を表1の最下欄に示す。
各例において上記のようにして製造した中間膜を、1対のガラス板間に挟み込むように積層して積層体とし、この積層体を真空バッグに入れ、絶対圧力が−67kPaとなる減圧度で脱気しながら110℃で接着を行った後、温度140℃、圧力1.3MPaの条件でさらに圧着を行うことにより合わせガラスを得た。なお、用いたガラス板は全てソーダライムガラスからなるガラス板(300mm×300mm、厚み2mm)であり、中間膜のサイズは予めガラス板と同じサイズにして積層に用いた。
上記で得られた合わせガラスを80℃のオーブンに投入し140時間保持した後、オーブンから取り出して発泡面積を測定した。発泡面積の測定は、発泡試験後の合わせガラスを正面からデジタルカメラで撮影し、画像処理ソフトimageJ(バージョン1.49)を用いて、発泡部位の面積を算出することで行った。なお、発泡部位の面積は具体的には、目視で発泡部位の輪郭を確定し、輪郭で囲まれる部分の面積を機械的に測定して算出した。例1〜例6の中間膜を用いた合わせガラスの発泡試験後の写真を図5に示す。
上記で得られた合わせガラスについて、周波数0〜10000Hz、温度20℃における1次共振点における損失係数を、ISO_PAS_16940に準拠し、小野測器社製、中央加振法測定システム(MA−5500、DS−2000)を用いて測定した。
Claims (8)
- 周波数1Hz、振り角gamma0.01%、温度20℃の条件下、動的粘弾性試験により測定される貯蔵弾性率が1.0×106Pa以上であるスキン層と、前記貯蔵弾性率が1.0×106Pa未満であるコア層が交互に積層され、前記コア層を2層以上有する合わせガラス用中間膜であって、前記コア層の各層の厚み(mm)を平均した値と前記合わせガラス用中間膜全体の厚み(mm)の積の値が0.15以上であり、前記合わせガラス用中間膜の2つの最表層が前記スキン層からなる合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 前記合わせガラス用中間膜の一方の主面から最も遠いコア層の前記一方の主面側の面から前記中間膜の一方の主面までの距離および、前記合わせガラス用中間膜の他方の主面から最も遠いコア層の前記他方の主面側の面から前記中間膜の他方の主面までの距離が、それぞれ0.6〜5.0mmである請求項1記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 前記合わせガラス用中間膜の全体の厚みが0.8〜5.2mmである請求項1または2記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 前記コア層を3層以上有する請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 前記スキン層の貯蔵弾性率から前記コア層の貯蔵弾性率を引いた値が、2.0×106Pa〜3.0×107Paの範囲にある請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 前記コア層の厚みに対する前記合わせガラス用中間膜全体の厚みの比の値が全てのコア層について11以上である請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 前記コア層の厚みに対する前記合わせガラス用中間膜全体の厚みの比の値が全てのコア層について15以上である請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 互いに対向する1対のガラス板と、前記1対のガラス板間に挟持される請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜とを備える合わせガラス。
