Description
〈1〉基材がWC、12.5-17質量%のCo、Cr/Co質量比が0.05-0.15になる量のCrを含み、Ti含量が50から300質量ppmであることを特徴とする、基材及びPVDコーティングを含む切削工具。
〈2〉超硬合金基材が0.80-0.97のCW-Cr比及び13から20kA/mの保磁力を有することを特徴とする、〈1〉項に記載の切削工具。
〈3〉Co含量が13-16質量%、Cr含量がCr/Co質量比が0.08-0.12になる量、及びTi含量が50から250ppmであることを特徴とする、〈1〉または〈2〉項に記載の切削工具。
〈4〉PVDコーティングが、均質なPVDコーティングであることを特徴とする、〈1〉〜〈3〉項のいずれか1項に記載の切削工具。
〈5〉PVDコーティングが、IVb族、Vb族、VIb族、Al、Y及びSiのうち1または複数の元素の、均質な窒化物コーティングであることを特徴とする、〈1〉〜〈4〉項のいずれか1項に記載の切削工具。
〈6〉PVDコーティングが、Ti及びAl元素の均質な窒化物コーティングであることを特徴とする、〈1〉〜〈5〉項のいずれか1項に記載の切削工具。
〈7〉PVDコーティングが、非周期多層構造A/B/A/B/A/B...を含み、交互に堆積する副層A及びBがコーティング全体に渡り繰り返されていて、A及びBの組成が各々で異なっており、副層A及びBがIVb族、Vb族、VIb族、Al、Y及びSiのうち1又は複数の元素の適切な窒化物であることを特徴とする、〈1〉項に記載の切削工具。
〈8〉PVDコーティングが、Ti及び/又はAlの、副層A及びBが交互に堆積する多層構造を含むことを特徴とする、〈7〉項に記載の切削工具。
また、本発明は、超硬合金基材及びPVDコーティングを含む、ステンレス鋼の転削に適した被覆切削工具に関する。この超硬合金基材は、WC、12.5-17質量%のCo、Cr/Coの質量比が0.05-0.15になる量のCr、及び50から300質量ppmのTiを含む。

Claims (11)
- 基材及びコーティングを含み、
前記基材がWC、12.5-17質量%のCo、Cr/Co質量比が0.05-0.15になる量のCrを含み、Ti含量が50から300質量ppmであり、
前記コーティングが、IVb族、Vb族、VIb族、Al、Y及びSiのうち1または複数の元素の、均質な窒化物コーティングであり、
前記コーティングが、非周期多層構造A/B/A/B/A/B...を含み、交互に堆積する副層A及びBがコーティング全体に渡り繰り返されていて、AとBの組成が相異なっており、副層A及びBがIVb族、Vb族、VIb族、Al、Y及びSiのうち1又は複数の元素の適切な窒化物であることを特徴とする、
切削工具。 - 超硬合金基材が0.80-0.97のCW-Cr比及び13から20kA/mの保磁力を有することを特徴とする、請求項1記載の切削工具。
- Co含量が13-16質量%、Cr含量がCr/Co質量比が0.08-0.12になる量、及びTi含量が50から250ppmであることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の切削工具。
- 前記コーティングが、Ti及びAl元素の均質な窒化物コーティングであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の切削工具。
- 前記コーティングが、Ti及び/又はAlの窒化物の、副層A及びBが交互に堆積する多層構造を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の切削工具。
- WC、12.5-17質量%のCo、Cr/Co質量比が0.05-0.15になる量のCrを含み、Ti含量が50から300質量ppmである基材にPVDでコーティングを堆積することを含むことを特徴とする、切削工具の製造方法。
- 超硬合金基材が0.80-0.97のCW-Cr比及び13から20kA/mの保磁力を有することを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の方法。
- Co含量が13-16質量%、Cr含量がCr/Co質量比が0.08-0.12になる量、及びTi含量が50から250ppmであることを特徴とする、請求項6または7に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティングが、Ti及びAl元素の均質な窒化物コーティングであることを特徴とする、請求項6〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
