Description
ガラスシートを製造する際、特定のガラス組成物の多くを利用することができる。例えば、本明細書の実施形態での使用に適切なイオン交換可能なガラスとしては、アルカリアルミノケイ酸塩ガラスまたはアルカリアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラスが含まれるが、他のガラス組成物も想定される。本明細書で使用される場合、「イオン交換可能」とは、ガラスが、ガラスの表面またはその付近に位置するカチオンを、大きさがより大きいまたはより小さい同一原子価のカチオンと交換可能であることを意味する。

(式中、Eは、ビーム材料の弾性率を表し、yは、重心軸から関心の点(ガラスの表面)までの垂直距離を表し、かつρは、ガラスシートの重心に対する曲率半径を表す)を使用して説明することができる。その結果、冷間成形による内部ガラス層16の曲げは、中間層14に隣接する内部層の表面17において、機械的引張応力、または内部ガラス層16の反対側の表面19と比較して低下した圧縮応力を誘導することができる。
Claims (4)
- 曲線状の第1のガラス層と;
実質的に平面の第2のガラス層と;
前記第1および第2のガラス層の中間に介在する少なくとも1つのポリマー中間層と
を備えたラミネート構造において、
前記第1のガラス層が、焼鈍しされたガラスから構成され、
前記第2のガラス層が、前記中間層に隣接する第1の表面および前記中間層の反対側の第2の表面を有する強化ガラスから構成され、前記第2のガラス層が、前記第1および第2の表面における表面圧縮応力の差を提供するために、前記第1のガラス層の湾曲に冷間成形されていることを特徴とする、ラミネート構造。 - 前記第2のガラス層の前記強化ガラスが、化学強化ガラスまたは熱強化ガラスであり、前記第1の表面における前記表面圧縮応力が、前記第2の表面における前記表面圧縮応力より小さいことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のラミネート構造。
- 前記第1および第2のガラス層の厚さが異なることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載のラミネート構造。
- 前記第2のガラス層の前記厚さが、1.5mm以下の厚さ、1.0mm以下の厚さ、0.7mm以下の厚さ、0.5mm以下の厚さ、0.5mm〜1.0mmの範囲内の厚さ、0.5mm〜0.7mmの厚さからなる群から選択され、
前記第1のガラス層の前記厚さが、2mm以上、2.5mm以上の厚さ、および1.5mm〜7.0mmの範囲の厚さからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のラミネート構造。
