Description

細胞を照射することによって発生した光学的信号を検出するために配置されたセンサと、
を含み、表面基板は細胞からの電気生理学的信号を検知するためのマイクロ電極アレイを含むことを特徴とする、細胞上の医薬スクリーニングを行うレンズフリーの装置が存在する。
(1)細胞103が基板表面102上に準備され(601)、
(2)基板表面102上の細胞103は、光源104を使用して照射され(603)、
(3)細胞の光学的信号および電気生理学的信号は、それぞれセンサ105およびマイクロ電極アレイによって同時に検出される(604、605)。

Claims (15)
- 表面(102)を有する基板(101)と、
存在する場合には、基板表面(102)上の細胞(103)に光波を照射するように配置された光源(104)と、
細胞に照射することにより発生した光学的信号を検出するように配置されたセンサ(105)と、
電子回路と、を含み、
基板表面(102)は、電子回路に接続されたマイクロ電極アレイ(106)を含み、
電子回路に接続されたマイクロ電極アレイ(106)は、細胞からの電気生理学的信号を検知するように構成されたことを特徴とする、細胞上において医薬スクリーニングを行うためのレンズフリー装置(100)。 - 基板表面(102)は、光波を反射するための反射面であり、センサ(105)は、反射された光波を検出するように配置されている、請求項1に記載のレンズフリー装置(100)。
- 基板(101)とセンサ(105)との間に配置され、細胞(103)に対して光波を向けるように構成され、反射された光波を送るようにさらに構成された光束分離装置(107)をさらに含む、請求項2に記載のレンズフリー装置(100)。
- センサ(105)は貫通孔(108)を含み、放射線源(104)は貫通孔(108)を通して光波を放射するように配置される、請求項2に記載のレンズフリー装置(100)。
- 基板(101)は、少なくとも光学的信号に対しては透明であり、センサ(105)は、基板(101)を通る光学的信号を検出するように配置される、請求項1に記載のレンズフリー装置(100)。
- 基板表面(102)は、細胞の成長を制御するためのパターンを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のレンズフリー装置(100)。
- センサ(105)およびマイクロ電極アレイ(106)に電気的に接続され、検出された光学的信号と検知された電気生理学的信号との相関を取るように構成された処理ユニット(110)をさらに含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のレンズフリー装置(100)。
- 光源(104)は、異なる光波を放射するように構成され、それぞれの光波が異なる波長範囲を有し、異なる波長範囲の光学的信号を発生させ、センサ(105)は、異なる光学的信号を検出するために構成される、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のレンズフリー装置(100)。
- 基板(100)は、基板表面(102)上の細胞に候補医薬を供給するように構成された流体装置(111)を含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のレンズフリー装置(100)。
- 流体装置(111)は、異なる候補医薬を基板表面上の異なる位置にある細胞に供給するよう構成される、請求項9に記載のレンズフリー装置(100)。
- 細胞上において医薬スクリーニングを行う方法(600、700)であって、その方法は、
レンズフリー装置(100)の基板(101)の表面(102)の上に細胞を準備する工程(601)と、
細胞を候補医薬に接触させる工程(602)と、
光波で細胞を照射する工程(603)と、
細胞を照射すること(603)によって発生した光学的信号を検出(604)および記録する工程と、を含み、
その方法は、細胞の電気生理学的信号を、マイクロ電極アレイ(106)によって、検出(605)して記録し、同時に光学的信号を検出(604)および記録する工程と、
細胞における候補医薬の影響を測定するために、記録された光学的信号と記録された電気生理学的信号との相関を取る工程(606)と、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする、細胞上において医薬スクリーニングを行う方法(600、700)。 - 記録された光学的信号を用いて、細胞の画像表現を再構成する工程(607)と、画像表現と記録された電気生理学的信号との相関を取る工程と、をさらに含む、請求項11に記載の方法(600、700)。
- 細胞を照射する工程(603)と、光学的信号を検出(604)および記録する工程と、電気生理学的信号を検出(605)および記録する工程と、光学的信号と記録された電気生理学的信号との相関を取る工程(607)とは、異なる波長範囲の光波を使用して(701)、少なくとも1度は繰り返される、請求項11〜12のいずれか1項に記載の方法(700)。
- 相関信号を使用して細胞を数えることをさらに含む、請求項11〜13のいずれか1項に記載の方法(600、700)。
- 心臓細胞上において医薬スクリーニングを行うための、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載のレンズフリー装置の使用。
