Claims (3)
- 画像を表示可能な表示装置本体と、センサ部と保護カバーとを有しかつこの表示装置本体による表示を透過させるタッチパネルと、これら表示装置本体とタッチパネルとを互いに貼り合わせる貼り合わせ部とを具備した表示装置であって、
前記表示装置本体は、
一方の基板と、
この一方の基板に対して所定の間隙を保持した状態でこの一方の基板の一部に対向して配置され、この一方の基板との間で画像を表示可能な表示領域を形成する他方の基板と、
前記一方の基板の前記他方の基板と対向しない位置に設けられた周辺部と、
この周辺部に実装され、前記表示領域と電気的に接続されるドライバとを備え、
前記貼り合わせ部は、
透光性の合成樹脂により設けられ、少なくとも前記表示領域を覆って前記他方の基板と前記センサ部とを貼り合わせる主貼り合わせ部と、
この主貼り合わせ部をなす合成樹脂よりも粘度が大きい液状の紫外線硬化型樹脂である接着剤を硬化して柱状に設けられ、前記周辺部と前記センサ部の側面及び前記保護カバーとを貼り合わせる副貼り合わせ部とを備え、
前記主貼り合わせ部は、前記副貼り合わせ部より膜厚が薄く、
前記副貼り合わせ部は、前記ドライバ上に配置され、かつ、前記主貼り合わせ部とは離間されている
ことを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記副貼り合わせ部は、点状に塗布された前記接着剤を硬化させて設けられている
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示装置。 - 前記副貼り合わせ部は、線状に塗布された前記接着剤を硬化させて設けられている
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示装置。
