Description
図1において、11は高速走行に適する自動二輪車用空気入りタイヤであり、このタイヤ11は子午線断面が略弧状を呈しながら半径方向外側に向かって凸状に滑らかに湾曲するトレッド部13と、このトレッド部13の幅方向両端からほぼ半径方向内側に向かって延びる一対のサイドウォール部14と、これらサイドウォール部14の半径方向内側端に連続しビードコア16がそれぞれ埋設された一対のビード部15とを備え、両トレッド端E間の幅がタイヤ最大幅となるよう成形されている。ここで、前述のトレッド端Eとはトレッド部13とサイドウォール部14との境界に位置する急激な屈曲部(エッジ)のことである。

Claims (1)
- トレッド部に、ゴムコーティングされた補強コードを螺旋状に巻回することで構成したベルト層と、該ベルト層の半径方向外側に設けられたゴムからなるトレッドとが配置された自動二輪車用タイヤにおいて、前記ベルト層の補強コードを 1%伸長時の引張力が 5N以上で15N以下であるコードから構成する一方、前記トレッドを少なくともタイヤ赤道面を含むセンター部と、トレッド端を含む一対のショルダー部とに区画し、前記ショルダー部におけるゴムの tanδの値をセンター部におけるゴムの tanδの値より大としたことを特徴とする自動二輪車用タイヤ。
