また、この構成によれば、流動制御パラメータの基本値と前述したフィードバック制御に基づくフィードバック補正値とを用いて、流動制御パラメータを算出する。また、流動制御パラメータの基本値は、燃料割合パラメータに応じて算出される。前述したように、筒内ガス中の燃料割合が低いほど、要求される筒内ガスの流動強さが増大し、それに見合う流動制御パラメータが求められる、したがって、上記の構成によれば、燃料割合に応じた流動強さの要求度合を反映させながら、流動制御パラメータの基本値を適切に算出でき、この基本値とフィードバック補正値を用いた、流動制御パラメータによるフィードバック制御の応答性を高めることができる。
さらに、この構成によれば、流動制御パラメータの基本値は、記憶手段に記憶されており、記憶手段から読み出すことによって算出される。また、記憶手段に記憶された基本値は、フィードバック補正値に基づいて更新される。フィードバック補正値は、燃焼状態パラメータが目標値になるようにフィードバック制御によって流動制御パラメータを算出する際の、適正値からの基本値のずれの大きさを反映する。したがって、基本値をフィードバック補正値に基づいて更新することによって、基本値のずれを適切に補正でき、それにより、流動制御パラメータによるフィードバック制御の応答性をさらに高めることができる。

このように、希釈率R_DLは、筒内ガス中の燃料量に対する空気量とEGR量との和の比で定義され、その値が大きいほど、筒内ガス中の燃料割合がより低いことを表す。また、希釈率R_DLは、EGRが実行されない場合には(GEGR=0)、空燃比AFと等しい。

Claims (4)
- 内燃機関の気筒内に充填された筒内ガスの流動の強さを、流動制御パラメータを変更することによって制御する筒内流動制御装置と、
前記筒内ガスの燃焼状態を表す燃焼状態パラメータを取得する燃焼状態パラメータ取得手段と、
前記筒内ガス中の燃料の割合を表す燃料割合パラメータを取得する燃料割合パラメータ取得手段と、
当該取得された燃料割合パラメータに応じて、前記燃焼状態パラメータの目標値を設定する目標値設定手段と、
前記燃焼状態パラメータが前記設定された目標値になるようにフィードバック制御を用いて、前記筒内流動制御装置の前記流動制御パラメータを算出する流動制御パラメータ算出手段と、を備え、
前記流動制御パラメータ算出手段は、前記燃料割合パラメータに応じて前記流動制御パラメータの基本値を算出し、前記フィードバック制御に基づくフィードバック補正値を算出するとともに、前記算出された基本値及びフィードバック補正値を用いて、前記流動制御パラメータを算出し、
前記流動制御パラメータの前記基本値を記憶する記憶手段と、
当該記憶手段に記憶された基本値を、前記フィードバック補正値に基づいて更新する基本値更新手段と、をさらに備えることを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記内燃機関の運転状態を検出する運転状態検出手段をさらに備え、
前記目標値設定手段は、前記燃料割合パラメータ及び前記検出された内燃機関の運転状態に応じて、前記目標値を設定することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記筒内流動制御装置は、筒内ガスのタンブル流の強さを制御するタンブル流制御装置、筒内ガスのスワール流の強さを制御するスワール流制御装置、前記気筒内への燃料の噴射圧力を制御する噴射圧力制御装置、及び前記気筒内への燃料の噴射時期を制御する噴射時期制御装置の1つであることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記気筒内の圧力を検出する筒内圧センサをさらに備え、
前記燃焼状態パラメータ取得手段は、前記筒内圧センサの検出結果に基づき、質量燃焼割合が50%になるクランク角を、前記燃焼状態パラメータとして算出することを特徴とする、請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
