Claims (18)
- カソードと、アノードと、アノードおよびカソードの間に配置された一連の有機層とを備え、この一連の有機層は、
アノードおよびカソードの間に配置され、第1のホスト材料および第1の放射性材料を含む第1の発光層と;
アノードおよび第1の発光層の間に配置される正孔輸送層と;
第1の発光層およびカソードの間に配置され、第1の発光層に直接配置されており、第2のホスト材料および第2の放射性材料を含む第2の発光層と;
第2の発光層およびカソードの間に配置される電子輸送層と;
第2の発光層および電子輸送層の間に配置され、第2の発光層に直接配置されており、第3のホスト材料および第3の放射性材料を含む第3の発光層とを備え、
正孔輸送層のHOMOエネルギー準位は、電子輸送層のHOMOエネルギー準位より高く、正孔輸送層のLUMOエネルギー準位は、電子輸送層のLUMOエネルギー準位より高く、
第3の発光層のLUMOエネルギー準位は、電子輸送層のLUMOエネルギー準位より低く、
前記第2の発光層のHOMOエネルギー準位は、前記第1の発光層のHOMOエネルギー準位より高く、
前記第2の発光層のLUMOエネルギー準位は、前記電子輸送層のLUMOエネルギー準位より低い、有機発光デバイス。 - 前記第2の発光層のHOMOエネルギー準位は、前記第1の発光層のHOMOエネルギー準位より高く、前記第1の発光層のLUMOエネルギー準位は、前記第2の発光層のLUMOエネルギー準位より低い、請求項1に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記第1の発光層のLUMOエネルギー準位は、前記第2の発光層のLUMOエネルギー準位より低い、請求項1に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記正孔輸送層が、HOMOエネルギー準位およびLUMOエネルギー準位をもつ正孔輸送化合物を含み、前記正孔輸送層のHOMOエネルギー準位が、前記正孔輸送化合物のHOMOエネルギー準位にほぼ等しく、前記正孔輸送層のLUMOエネルギー準位が、前記正孔輸送化合物のLUMOエネルギー準位にほぼ等しい、請求項1に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記電子輸送層が、HOMOエネルギー準位およびLUMOエネルギー準位をもつ電子輸送化合物を含み、前記電子輸送層のHOMOエネルギー準位が、前記電子輸送化合物のHOMOエネルギー準位にほぼ等しく、前記電子輸送層のLUMOエネルギー準位が、前記電子輸送化合物のLUMOエネルギー準位にほぼ等しい、請求項1に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記第1のホスト材料が、前記第1の発光層の少なくとも約50重量%であり、前記第1の発光層のHOMOエネルギー準位が、前記第1のホスト材料のHOMOエネルギー準位にほぼ等しく、前記第1の発光層のLUMOエネルギー準位が、前記第1のホスト材料のLUMOエネルギー準位にほぼ等しい、請求項1に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記第2のホスト材料が、前記第2の発光層の少なくとも約50重量%であり、前記第2の発光層のHOMOエネルギー準位が、前記第2のホスト材料のHOMOエネルギー準位にほぼ等しく、前記第2の発光層のLUMOエネルギー準位が、前記第2のホスト材料のLUMOエネルギー準位にほぼ等しい、請求項1に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記第1の放射性材料が、第2の放射性材料が放射する可視光光子よりも平均波長が短い可視光子を放射する、請求項1に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記第1の発光層が、平均波長が約400nm〜約550nmの範囲の可視光子を放射する、請求項1に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記第1の発光層が、イリジウム配位化合物を含む、請求項1に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記イリジウム配位化合物がFIrPicである、請求項10に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記第2の発光層が、イリジウム配位化合物を含む、請求項1に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記第2の発光層が、平均波長が約500nm〜約750nmの範囲の可視光子を放射する、請求項1に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記第2の発光層が、黄色エミッタと赤色エミッタとを含む、請求項1に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記黄色エミッタが、イリジウム(III)[ビス(5−トリフルオロメチル−2−[3−(N−フェニルカルバゾリル)−ピリジナト](アセチルアセトナート)またはIr(pq)2acacである、請求項14に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記赤色エミッタがIr(piq)2acacである、請求項14に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記正孔輸送層がDTASiを含み、前記第1のホストが4CzPBPを含み、前記第2のホストが2,2’−(4,4’−(9−p−トリル−9H−カルバゾール−3,6−ジイル)ビス(4,1−フェニレン))ジベンゾ[d]オキサゾールを含み、前記電子輸送層がTPBIを含む、請求項1に記載の有機発光デバイス。
- 前記正孔輸送層がDTASiを含み、前記第1のホストが5,5’−ジ(9H−カルバゾール−9−イル)−3,3’−ビピリジンを含み、前記第2のホストが2,2’−(4,4’−(9−p−トリル−9H−カルバゾール−3,6−ジイル)ビス(4,1−フェニレン))ジベンゾ[d]オキサゾールを含み、前記電子輸送層がTPBIを含む、請求項1に記載の有機発光デバイス。
