Claims (2)
- ピッチPの格子を有するスケールからの透過光又は反射光を受光し、それぞれ90度(1/4P)の整数倍で位相のずれた4相の信号を出力する複数の受光素子から成る光学式エンコーダにおいて、
前記すべての受光素子は、縦の幅が同じであり、横方向(スケール長手方向)に12N個(Nは、自然数)の受光素子がP/60又は2P/60間隔を空けて配置され、任意の連続して並ぶ4個は、すべて異なる位相の信号を出力し、それぞれの同じ位相の信号を出力する受光素子は、横の幅が7P/60,13P/60,20P/60の3種類であることを特徴とする光学式エンコーダ。 - 前記受光素子は、上下の2辺が横方向にP/7ずれた平行四辺形をしていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の光学式エンコーダ。
