Claims (8)
- 円筒体の軸方向の端部同士を突き合わせることで、周方向に沿って形成される開先部に対し、レーザビームを照射して溶接するレーザ溶接方法であって、
前記レーザビームを前記開先部に対し全周に亘って照射して溶接する溶接工程と、
前記溶接工程で照射された前記レーザビームの単位面積当たりの入熱量よりも小さい入熱量となる前記レーザビームを、前記開先部に対し全周に亘って照射する歪修正工程と、を備え、
前記溶接工程では、前記レーザビームを前記開先部に照射することで、前記開先部周りに塑性歪領域が形成され、
前記歪修正工程では、前記レーザビームの軸方向における照射幅が、前記塑性歪領域の軸方向における幅よりも長くなっていることを特徴とするレーザ溶接方法。 - 前記歪修正工程において前記レーザビームにより加熱される前記開先部の表面温度は、残留塑性歪が発生する温度となることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のレーザ溶接方法。
- 前記歪修正工程において前記レーザビームにより加熱される前記開先部の表面温度は、残留塑性歪が発生する温度よりも高くなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のレーザ溶接方法。
- 前記歪修正工程では、前記レーザビームの焦点と前記開先部との間の距離を、前記溶接工程よりも長くすることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載のレーザ溶接方法。
- 円筒体の軸方向の端部同士を突き合わせた状態で、前記円筒体を保持する保持治具と、
前記円筒体の軸方向の端部同士を突き合わせることで、周方向に沿って形成される開先部に対し、レーザビームを照射するレーザ溶接部と、
前記レーザ溶接部を制御する制御部と、を備え、
前記制御部は、
前記レーザ溶接部を制御して、前記レーザビームを前記開先部に対し全周に亘って照射して溶接し、前記レーザビームの単位面積当たりの入熱量を小さくした後、前記レーザビームを前記開先部に対し再び全周に亘って照射しており、
溶接時において、前記レーザビームを前記開先部に照射することで、前記開先部周りに塑性歪領域を形成し、溶接後において、前記レーザビームの軸方向における照射幅が、前記塑性歪領域の軸方向における幅よりも長くすることを特徴とするレーザ溶接装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記レーザビームにより加熱される前記開先部の表面温度を、残留塑性歪が発生する温度とすることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のレーザ溶接装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記レーザビームにより加熱される前記開先部の表面温度を、残留塑性歪が発生する温度よりも高くすることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のレーザ溶接装置。
- 前記制御部は、溶接後における前記レーザビームの焦点と前記開先部との間の距離を、溶接時における前記レーザビームの焦点と前記開先部との間の距離よりも長くすることを特徴とする請求項5から7のいずれか1項に記載のレーザ溶接装置。
